Year End Random Thoughts

This time of year, I tend to reflect a bit more on the events that shaped this year.  So buckle in for one of the last year-end rants – you might want to put the coffee down now…

When Fidel Castro died, we could really tell what the Progressive Left Democrats thought of the American People.  When they lamented Castro calling him a “Progressive Leader” and a “Defender of Freedom” all the while knowing that this person had jailed, tortured, executed, and exiled his political enemies & citizens all the while looting the country for his personal benefit, we found out what they think of and have in mind for us.  It just confirmed Felonia von Pantsuit’s “deplorable” comment…

The Progressive Left Democrats are socialists if not in practice then definitely in words.  It amuses me somewhat when they call Conservatives (and most recently President-Elect Trump) Nazies and Hitler.  Nazi is an abbreviation of “National Socialist German Workers’ Party.”  Let that sink in for a moment or two…

The Progressive Left Democrats also think that government is the answer to all of the ills of society.  Government actually causes more problems than they solve.  On second thought, does anyone remember when everything sucked and then the government stepped in and solved all of our problems?  I sure don’t, and I don’t expect it to happen.

Think about this too – Venezuela is a socialist country, and has run out of everything – food, water, toilet paper, fuel, etc. – when the oil prices crashed and the government run oil industry crashed along with it.  It’s so bad that Venezuelans are crossing the countries borders to find food, and are putting their children up for foreign adoption in order to save them.  A lesson to be learned here is that no matter how many times that socialism (and it’s cousin communism) has been tried, it has been disastrous to the people of that country.

But that doesn’t matter to the Progressive Left Democrats and their supporters.  To this day, they are begging, pleading, and threatening the Electors of the Electoral College to change their votes for Felonia von Pantsuit, aka The Hildebeast, to have the a) first female President, and b) a third year of Obamanomics, Obamacare, and a disastrous foreign policy.  The outgoing First Lady is further embarrassing herself when she stated that there is no hope for Americans without a continuation of the policies that have mired this country in low employment and a nearly non-existent economy.

What sore losers…

I do expect President Trump to fulfill his campaign promises to make things better, but I’m realistic enough to know that the problems that have been created by decades of political corruption and meddling won’t be solved in four, eight, or more years.  Not when there are useless politicians who have no common sense or experience in the real world in government.

For instance, the Indianapolis city-county council passed a resolution for “meatless Mondays” to “reducing or eliminating animal products from diets for the benefit of animals, the environment, and our health.”  In California, regulation of cow flatulence has been mandated to combat global warming / climate change / whatever is the buzzword for the day is for weather.  And last, in several states, it is illegal to collect rainwater for your own personal use (like to water flowers).  All brought to you by an overzealous government with a Machiavellian bent all brought to you by years of progressive policies.

The latest push into government control is one of the “reasons” that the Progressive Liberal Democrats have stated that they lost the election is “fake news.”  Their solution is to “curate” the news, which is another word for “censor.”  Isn’t anyone concerned about this foray into a further violation into our First Amendment?  I sure haven’t heard a whole lot from the media, but then again, they have been constantly embarrassed by people digging for the truth & reporting it instead of the pro-Liberal propaganda spouted by the media.  I’m sure we’ll hear more about this in the coming weeks as the Liberals in the Democratic Party and the media search for relevance in the face of their rejection by the American People.

And, of course, there’s the usual post-election call for replacing the Electoral College with a straight popular vote.   To which I ask – do you really want the heavily Democratic-controlled cities and states dictating through elections how the rest of the country is to be governed?  Just look at the troubles that California is having (economics, taxes, housing costs, etc.) & the number of bankrupt cities, and then tell me that is the way to go on a national level.

I leave you with some reading material.  First, Arthur Schaper’s “The California Democratic Party: The Ghost of Confederates Past” which outline’s the Democrat’s problems in California (and for us if we let them).  Second is Kurt Schilchter’s alternate universe of the aftermath of a Hildebeast victory “The Terrifying Aftermath of Hillary’s Election Victory.”

Have a good week, everyone.  There’s a non-traditional post pending for Christmas Eve that I believe you should read.

  1. This one post has so many truths in it, it is a huge wonder, if people would read this, that they could go on voting for the liberal side of the coin. The ending with the two reading materials is great, and I am going to be reading both in the near future. Thanks Tom.
