Quick! Jump to Conclusions: Show us who you are!

I remember growing up in a different era, where a person’s word was his bond. An honorable man always told the truth, and lies were not the norm……yet, today it seems that lies prevail, sometimes even after the truth comes out. And Ferguson, Baltimore and many other cities show just that to be true.

Take Freddie Gray in Baltimore. The word came out that Freddie Gray died in a police transport van, and he died of something that couldn’t happen without help. Well, the race-baiting stupid people decided that the police were at fault, without looking into this to find out what happened. And we all know what happened in Baltimore after that.

When the news first came out about him dying of spinal cord injuries inside the police van, people, and I use this term very very loosely here, jumped up and went on a riotous rampage that turned Baltimore into a war zone, with stores being looted, thievery happening and people getting hurt and killed. All by people, again used very loosely, wen berserk and ransacked everything they could. NOTHING PEACEFUL, nothing civilized about it. And then the mayor came out and said that time was needed to let them cool down, while more businesses were destroyed and torched.

It was, just like Ferguson, Quick, Jump to conclusions, especially if it is against Christian White America, and then show us who you are, while making it racist of us to let everyone know. Yep, that pretty much discloses what happened in those two cities, and it will not be the last time because this type of person would rather jump to a wrong conclusion than actually find out what really happened.

The really bad part of what happens in something like this is, someone else’s life is always destroyed, with no apologies afterwards, to the people’s lives destroyed. Now we have riots in Washington, San Diego, San Francisco and other places because of something that is now being shown was not caused by the police, but by Freddie Gray himself. The truth doesn’t matter. Crowds in these cities that I just mentioned are still yelling “Hands Up! Don’t Shoot!” a quote that has been used because of Ferguson, where what they were yelling was proved to be totally false.

So come on you morons out there. Show us who you are. Protest something that really didn’t happen, and try to make us all believe that all whites are racist and all Conservative Republicans know not how to tell the truth……..let us know that it really isn’t you who are doing all the bad things against people. Try to show us that we are the racists…..NOT YOU. But try as you might, I seriously don’t think you will succeed in subverting the truth. Cause eventually, no matter how hard you try to keep it from coming out……..the truth will always win out.

This nation could stop this insanity from continuing, if more parents, both the moms and the dads started bapping their kids around like the mother in Baltimore did. And if you think this is a bad thing to say, let me say a few things on this one. Even Dr. Phil who is adamantly against this kind of thing, applauded this mother for hitting her son like she did. And, in the future, that kid, when grown up, will remember this day as the day his mother punished him for being stupid and sending him home, quite possibly saving his life. But this kind of thing needs to happen by both parents, not just the mother. And then as a society, we need to get the hell out of their lives and let them raise their kids. Kids that grow up with consequences to their actions, whether good or bad, are the ones that will grow up to be productive citizens of our future. Remember that cause all the morons out there protesting are not part of that productive future. I guarantee that one folks. I guarantee it.

Been away for a while…..but I am back…

Okay, just to set the record straight, I have not fallen off the face of the earth. What did happen though was my computer blew it’s hard drive and I had to get another one. Well, that is where the troubles started. I had to use a PC for the time this computer was down, and it was slower than thick molasses in the middle of an arctic winter. So I had a heck of a time doing anything. That last post I did here was done on that computer and it took me forever. Needless to say.

Well, today, I got my computer back from MacExperience, and they got it working, though now, I have to remember all I had on this computer and reinstall it….starting with my bookmarks. New hard drive, nothing on it. So, I am back, and this is a very short post, but it is here to let everyone know that I am still around and things will be heating up here at Wise Conservatism. We have a lot to say and, there is a lot going on.

Thank you all for continuing to come here, and I will do my best to add content shortly.

God Bless our Troops
God Bless you everyone.

The Lights Are On, but Nobody’s Home

Our southern border with Mexico is one of the most porous borders in the world. Our government has no clue as to what it needs to do, and the ones that actually do, get run through the mill for their ideas on closing it. But the reality of the border problem has been coming for a long time, and now it is here.

ISIS terrorists have two training camps close to the U.S. Border near the towns of El Paso Texas and Deming New Mexico. My idea on this is, we should send force down there and blow them to hell. But, sadly, the lights are on but NO BODY IS HOME, when it comes to the people in charge here.

Now I know that those of the left who come here, and I know they do, won’t believe this, but this one has been confirmed. From Red Flag News dot com comes this one that describes what has been going on down there.

ISIS has Camps on the U.S. Border, But Obama Says Right-Wing Extremists’ Are the Greatest Terror Threat.

Now, I don’t know about you, but that really offends me. We have ISIS training camps miles from several U.S. Cities, and Obama thinks we Conservatives are the bigger threat?? Also, a news item from Judicial Watch dot com says this:

ISIS Camp a Few Miles from Texas, Mexicon Authorities Confirm

April 14, 2015

ISIS is operating a camp just a few miles from El Paso, Texas, according to Judicial Watch sources that include a Mexican Army field grade officer and a Mexican Federal Police Inspector.

The exact location where the terrorist group has established its base is around eight miles from the U.S. border in an area known as “Anapra” situated just west of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Another ISIS cell to the west of Ciudad Juárez, in Puerto Palomas, targets the New Mexico towns of Columbus and Deming for easy access to the United States, the same knowledgeable sources confirm.

During the course of a joint operation last week, Mexican Army and federal law enforcement officials discovered documents in Arabic and Urdu, as well as “plans” of Fort Bliss – the sprawling military installation that houses the US Army’s 1st Armored Division. Muslim prayer rugs were recovered with the documents during the operation.

Law enforcement and intelligence sources report the area around Anapra is dominated by the Vicente Carrillo Fuentes Cartel (“Juárez Cartel”), La Línea (the enforcement arm of the cartel) and the Barrio Azteca (a gang originally formed in the jails of El Paso). Cartel control of the Anapra area make it an extremely dangerous and hostile operating environment for Mexican Army and Federal Police operations.

According to these same sources, “coyotes” engaged in human smuggling – and working for Juárez Cartel – help move ISIS terrorists through the desert and across the border between Santa Teresa and Sunland Park, New Mexico. To the east of El Paso and Ciudad Juárez, cartel-backed “coyotes” are also smuggling ISIS terrorists through the porous border between Acala and Fort Hancock, Texas. These specific areas were targeted for exploitation by ISIS because of their understaffed municipal and county police forces, and the relative safe-havens the areas provide for the unchecked large-scale drug smuggling that was already ongoing.

Mexican intelligence sources report that ISIS intends to exploit the railways and airport facilities in the vicinity of Santa Teresa, NM (a US port-of-entry). The sources also say that ISIS has “spotters” located in the East Potrillo Mountains of New Mexico (largely managed by the Bureau of Land Management) to assist with terrorist border crossing operations. ISIS is conducting reconnaissance of regional universities; the White Sands Missile Range; government facilities in Alamogordo, NM; Ft. Bliss; and the electrical power facilities near Anapra and Chaparral, NM.

Now, at the risk of sounding like I am a racist, and prejudice, I know what we should do down there. We need to bomb these people into their HELL, and get them the heck out of there. We all know what ISIS is all about, and if they are there, we know they don’t plan to stay there. And they aren’t. They are working to get into America to do their next dastardly deeds, maybe, publicly beheading Christian Americans! But we know we won’t bomb them because Obama is on their side, not ours. See what I have been saying about this president and how he doesn’t have our backs? Sadly, many still won’t get it when we get attacked from within, by ISIS or some other terror group.

Americans Are Losing the ability to think. All By Design!

I have been working a lot lately, and have had little time to blog, so I have been real thankful for Tom. But there are things that really need to be said from my standpoint too. The trouble is, I haven’t been able to say it. But Greg Garrison of WIBC here in Indianapolis did. His Hands Up, Don’t think says it all. Give this one a read:

So enough for political stances and special interests’ offensives; also for rhetoric that divides for whatever purpose. Think with me for a few minutes about the events and circumstances—and the awful results that have come from them for all of us. The phenomenon, just recently played out right here in Indiana, boasted a set of results and a race away from the facts toward reactions and ends that are sadly in line with past such times over the last few years.

When the story first started percolating in and then outside of Florida about the high school kid shot by a community crime watch guy, the rush to slogans and the incitements by the usual suspects took off at Mach speeds without the slightest hint of a search for facts first. Innocent black youth, unarmed and minding his own business, shot by a “white Hispanic” male. (We are all still trying to figure out just what a white Hispanic is, by the way.) Riots, torrents of racial invective hurled at every conceivable target, and an instant conclusion that the white guy was to blame were all eagerly embraced by the public. Mssrs. Jackson, Sharpton, et al fanned the flames and the results were pretty awful.

Then one day the facts started to leak out; a lacerated scalp, bodily bruising all over the white Hispanic’s torso and a broken nose; a kid with a less pristine persona and clear EVIDENCE that the struggle was incited by its eventual victim all combined to shush the rabble almost overnight. And of course, eventually the shooter was acquitted of all charges.

Fast forward to Ferguson, Missouri, just last year, where the white cop kills the back youth after a fight over his own weapon. A clearly fallacious allegation that the 6 foot 4 inch 290 lb. youth raised his hands to surrender quite literally set a town on fire. Nobody knew—because nobody cared or even wanted to know that the shooting victim had just held up a convenience store and assaulted its proprietor only minutes before; then there were all those dispassionate third party bystanders who corroborated the officer’s statements that the youth had lunged into the police car and attempted to take the officer’s gun. No hands up, they reported and absolutely no “DON’T SHOOT”! But the city burned anyway. Cops got shot, rioters from all over the country descended on Ferguson to loot and pillage, beat innocent people and burn down the town. NO charges against the cop, a confirmation by the Holder Justice Department that there was no evidence of wrongdoing by the police. Just a town torn asunder.

Now we see it in political arena, right here at home. A statute replicated by the Legislature virtually verbatim from the 1993 law of the same name as passed by an almost unanimous Congress and signed by President Clinton suddenly became—again without evidence or proof of any kind—an awful indictment of a whole state full of wonderful people. Homophobic, racist, evil. . .really—evil. Businesses, entire industries threatening overnight to pull out of Indiana and never return. And over what? A piece of settled legislation that had been in existence around the country and at the federal level for over two decades, that’s what. So who thought, who stepped back to ask, or read, or consider? Nobody. In the end the whole thing was a disaster, with the Legislature and the administration taking it on the chin and creating a protected classification that was never the law anyway.

Again the debate at this moment is not the whole “Who shot Cock Robin” argument over who’s right at any one time; what is so difficult is how our society has come to the place where, based upon so little—or as in these cases above, on nothing—it can create issues and blame, claims and eventually violence that burns down whole cities. And when those stubborn facts start to come out, the antagonists simply fade back into the woodwork and wait for another scandal, perception or outright fraud to exploit. We end up pitted against each other, often on racial or party lines, and in almost every case our strife is first initiated and then fueled by energy that is without factual support from the outset.

At times the old lawyer in me despairs that we as a people have so completely abandoned fact finding and so utterly given up on seeking the truth before acting. Our Media race ahead with ridiculous headlines and stories without seeking even the most rudimentary journalistic safeguards, and when they get caught, there is no sanction for their misconduct and unprofessionalism. Never mind what they have wrought and the mischief that have created.

That fraternity house at the University of Virginia that was falsely accused of a gang rape in Rolling Stone is now and for all time devastated, thanks to an unscrupulous young woman who was so excited to be able to tell the tale that she failed to check a single fact. Turns out the whole thing was made up, there was no rape—hell, there was actually no victim! But the damage is done and the lives of those young men are ruined. Same for the Duke University Lacrosse team back when.

That’s what happens when reasonable inquiry is not required or even encouraged. And sometimes cops get shot and towns burn to the ground. Time to demand more, my friends. It’s time.

Mr. Garrison is so right dear reader. It is time. We need to stop accepting what is said in the media and from our politicians as something that is the absolute truth. Because usually it is nothing more than just talking points put there to push an agenda. An agenda that is turning America into something none of us want, and yet our leaders do. It is time to stand up and let them know, under no uncertain terms that this is going to end…….and now.

The last elections we had here in America, were us standing up and telling Obama and the government we were dissatisfied with the direction they were leading us. We spoke, and the politicians didn’t listen. Now we have people out here telling us the way to go, and we are listening, but the media and the politicians in Washington who don’t care about us, are not. The last few elections we have allowed the GOP and the democrats to tell us who we were to have as a candidate. It was like this Hands up, don’t think thing and we put our hands up and didn’t think. The time to put our hands down, and THINK has come. For everything going on here in America. Folks, the left is destroying this great nation. It’s time to put a stop to “Hands Up, Don’t think.”

Discrimination or What?

I have been and continue to be discriminated against as well as been harassed, called names, and otherwise maligned.  For instance:

  • I have been denied entrance to various places of business.
  • I cannot enter various government buildings unhindered & without scrutiny.
  • I cannot step onto the property of the Post Office without committing a Federal crime.
  • I do not have a criminal record, but am often portrayed by the media as a criminal.
  • Various public figures have indirectly called for my incarceration or worse.
  • I have been called “a nut” and other names by the media.

Can you guess why?

It is because I hold a Michigan CPL (Concealed Pistol License), and believe in our Second Amendment.

As to the first three items in the list:  Yes, I can go to these places, but only if I disarm myself & leave the safety of my family and myself to others (why would I want to do that?).  For the next three, various media outlets and celebrities call for my forcible disarmament and/or incarceration and/or bodily harm for simply exercising my Second Amendment rights.

Now my reaction to a lot of the above is to simply avoid these establishments except when absolutely necessary.  It’s not to run and scream to the media or hire attorneys to sue these various entities into compliance.  Quite unlike another group…

The reaction by the militant arm of the LGBT lobby to my home state of Indiana’s passage of their version Religious Freedom Restoration Act has, in my opinion, been way over the top.  Considering that there has been a Federal law signed by their hero Bill Clinton and 19 other states, my question would be:  Why now?

Their vocal objections to the law has nothing to do with a baker or pizzeria denying catering a homosexual wedding based on a religious point of view.  If it did, then why only target a Christian-based business?  Why not a Muslim-based business offering the same services?  Here’s my humble opinion why…

The LGBT lobby is wanting to force religious organizations to remove bans against homosexual behavior in not only their policies, but scriptures as well.   They want to do this by having judicial decisions and laws passed banning discrimination based upon any religious practices to the contrary, and to ban scriptures describing homosexual behavior as a sin as hate speech.  This way, their lifestyle is then legitimatized from both legal and religious standpoints.

Since the dominant religion in the United States is Christian-based, then this will be the religion that will be targeted.  It also does not help that the Christian religion is tolerant (hate the sin, love the sinner), and several denominations have reversed their stances on homosexual practices within their church.

Thus, this is more about forcing acceptance and tolerance over the rights of others rather than respecting those differing opinions and rights.  The militant LGBT would rather ignore the Constitution and the Bill of Rights to further their agenda.  Otherwise, those same people who were supposedly denied service by a baker on religious grounds would do exactly what I would have done – find another bakery to fill their requirements.  Surely, there must be LGBT friendly bakers somewhere in that city…

Dr. Brian Joondeph has the following to say about the Indiana law on AmericanThinker.com (excerpts from article):

What exactly is so controversial about this Indiana law? It “Provides that a state or local government action may not substantially burden a person’s right to the exercise of religion,” unless there is a “compelling governmental interest.”

Maybe this is why the left is in a lather, as their worldview is that most of what we do in our mundane daily lives is a “compelling interest” of the government. What light bulbs we buy, how warm or cool we keep our homes, what size soft drinks we order, whether we sprinkle salt on our food, and so on.

One man’s compelling government interest is another man’s liberty or pursuit of happiness. As I wrote last year, what is the compelling government interest in whether a Christian baker chooses to not bake a cake for a same sex wedding? Or whether a kosher Jewish deli refuses to serve a ham and cheese sandwich? Or whether a Muslim printer declines to print copies of a Mohammed cartoon?

These are the freedoms enshrined by the First Amendment. “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” If a Muslim female wears a hijab to school, this is a constitutionally protected right. Why are bakers and photographers not afforded the same constitutional protections?

Indiana, along with 19 other states, enacted a law allowing its residents to practice their religion free from government scrutiny. It took the 20th such state law to garner the attention of the left.

Yes indeed…it took them this long to figure out that many people, including their beloved Democrats, actually believe that the right of People to follow their religious convictions rather than the demands of a few.

The First and Second Amendments of the Constitution reinforce the Rights of the People that no government or organization can legally or morally subvert.  These are the Rights of the People to be respected by all, not excepted by a few.

(In the interests of full disclosure, I have friends and a cousin who are homosexuals.  While they want legalization of their partnerships, they also respect the rights of others.)
