It seems that ever since the beginning of time or there- abouts, the democrats have gotten everything that they wanted with a few bumps in the road on their path to the destruction of America. But never has it been so painfully obvious as it is today, and yet, all we hear from the democrats is, the Republicans are waging a war on women, and the republicans are working to shut down the government and other such trash that if we would just look at what is really happening, we would see that it is the democrats doing all of that.
We see it almost daily, with everything from Fast and Furious, to Benghazi. From the IRS Scandal to the so called Government shutdown. Lies told to propogate what the democrats want to happen.
So why are they so “out there” when it comes to getting what they want? Because they have had a hell of a lot of practice at lying to the American public, without being caught. They are good at it. The republicans? NOT SO MUCH!
That, plus the fact that the democrats have the media on their side. People like Chris “I’d rather tell a lie, than work to find the truth” Matthews, who will say something about what the republicans are doing, never thinking about whether it is true or not. Take this whole thing with the government shut down that him and all the democrats are saying the republicans are working to get. NOTHING COULD BE FARTHER FROM THE TRUTH!
I have fairly much kept silent on this issue, but after hearing the afore-mentioned liar Chris Matthews come out on this yesterday, I just had to say something.
From FREEDOMWORKS dot ORG came this one titled Democrats Threaten Government Shutdown. Finally I see the truth of the matter in print.
The president and his political allies have decided that there will be a government shutdown on or about October 1 unless they are allowed to increase government spending. They will also force a shutdown if Republicans attempt to protect Americans from the coming Obamacare disaster. Either way, they and their media allies will attempt convince the public that it’s all Republicans’ fault.
It worked last time. Many Republican leaders are convinced in their rubbery bones that the 1995 government shutdown was some kind of political 9/11, crushing the conservative movement for decades.
The history is not so clear. After the episode, President Clinton moved to the right, not the left, and Republicans ran the moderate Bob Dole. Even without the coattails of a strong conservative at the top of the ticket, the makeup of the House and Senate didn’t change much. It’s hard to argue the episode had any effect at all politically.
Since the liberal Senate continues to ignore the need for a balanced budget, Congress has not passed a budget since 2009. As a result, Congress passes every year a Continuing Resolution (CR) to continue funding the federal government at the prior year’s spending level — plus a regular increase.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) promised to do “everything within my ability” to stop a CR that doesn’t increase spending. From The Hill:
Moreover, The Washington Post reported Friday that senior White House officials were weighing a strategy by which President Obama would threaten a veto of any bill that did not roll back the sequester. Administration officials have also signaled that the president would definitively veto any legislation that provided deeper cuts than those already in place with the sequester.
Speaking on the Senate floor, Minority Leader Mitch McConnell explained,
Last year, the slightest hint of fiddling with spending caps led to a furious response from senior Washington Democrats. It even led to a veto threat from the White House. But now, Washington Democrats are tired of bipartisanship. The commitments they made have become an inconvenience to their special-interest agenda. So now, they’re threatening to shut down the government if they’re not allowed to break their word.
The President and his allies will vote down or veto any demand Republicans make in the CR fight. Democrats want a government shutdown, because they think they can put the blame on Republicans. Unless Republicans are willing to stand firm, they will always be at a disadvantage.
Now this shows pretty good what the democrats are up too, but all you hear from the media and the democrats is that Senator Ted Cruz is pushing to shut down government by pushing the Continuing Resolution. No. What is going on there folks, if you would just do a little research instead of blindly following the press off the proverbial cliff, is the continuing resolution doesn’t shut down government. It funds the government, just not Obamacare.
And because the democrats would rather shut down government than to have their precious destructive Obamacare threatened, they will work to shut down government themselves, while blaming the Republicans for doing it. Normally this would work because of the media. But they are forgetting, we now have a media too. And it is growing stronger with each passing day.
Conservative Nation Radio and the Blaze Network, and things like Michelle Malkin’s “twitchy” and blogs like this one and Political Pistachio and Heart of the Wise, and many others are getting the word out. We have Rush Limbaugh who always puts the truth out here, and Sean Hannity and many others.
In Government we have Ted Cruz and Rand Paul. We have Todd Rokita and Sarah Palin, and Michelle Bachmann. We have many others out here working for our cause people. So the time to stop listening to the liars of the media like Chris Matthews, and Piers Morgan has come. Start listening to the truth for once. You will find it a refreshing change, and you will find that America is NOT SO BAD.
