Memorial Day: Spend it Thanking our Heroes

Today is a day to remember and honor the heroes of this country. The military, which the left hates, and the men and women who fight to keep the freedoms that we all enjoy daily. And I know the left in this country hate hearing that, at least the liberal ones that hate this country.

But, I digress here. Because the idea that someone could hate this country so much, that it just boggles my mind, especially when I look at their life styles and see that they are rich beyond anyone’s ability to know, if they do not live in this country, and yet, the country that gave them the ability to get rich like that is the bad guy of the world. I just don’t understand. Warren Buffet, one of the richest men in the world hates this country. Why? I don’t know. It gave him the ability to become the richest man in the world. I guess that just goes to show, that being rich like that man is, is a very saddening experience and he just doesn’t want anyone else to suffer that consequence.

But, it seems to me that people like Barack Obama, and the rest of them all the way down to Warren Buffet hate the idea that we are free, and for that one reason alone, they should not be in the position of power that they are in. To end this post, I found something that was done in a show for Conservative Nation Radio. This, says it all:

My heart beats liberty. My heart does not talk to me but yet has a profound reverence for those that paid the ultimate sacrifice so the heart can continue to beat strong and proud. This heart might not talk per say other than telling me that I am alive by listening to it beat to the cadence of a finely tuned drum following along with the chorus of multitudes of those that have come before me and have left their hearts and souls on this Earth in a unique way that I will never be able to equal. How can one measure up to the likes of our fallen and our Founding Fathers who gave us a Republic to protect and defend, if we choose to?

How can one knowingly commit themselves to a country that in many cases fails to commit to them? Courage defines the words. And the action. The courage to stand up for all you believe in despite the odds. Courage to know that regardless the odds you stand for all that is good for this country. The courage to help when help is needed and the courage to rebuke the status quo and trust your heart that still beats to defend others that are meek and cannot defend themselves and to trust in your soul to tell your heart that what you are doing is righteous.

As Benjamin Franklin so profoundly said,
“Freedom is not a gift bestowed upon us by other men, but a right that belongs to us by the laws of God and nature.”

Thomas Paine, another founding father said “Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.

The heart will do what the body lends it to , the soul speaks to the heart to make sure it is following the course intended and not going astray.

We have many people out there with big hearts but no soul. Our show today we hope will exemplify those with both. Heart and soul.

We are and should be the proudest nation on Earth because we were granted the strength of the Heart and the Power of the Soul by God Almighty and it is by the Grace of God that we are here to partake of Decoration Day/Memorial Day with you all.

Today we celebrate the heart and soul of the American Spirit and that is defined by those that keep that spirit alive and protect it. The American Soldier!

Today we pay tribute to those that are no longer with us that gave the ultimate sacrifice so we can give them a heartfelt kiss and a soulful wish to let them know that we stand at the ready to fight for what they gave us.

What did I tell you. That was great wasn’t it? Told it just like today really should be told. God Bless all our veterans, from Every war we have ever been in. It is because of their sacrifices, that we have the freedoms that we do today. I just hope, like Ben Franklin said, “…..we can keep it.”
