Is he serious? No immediate Crisis in terms of Debt?

“We don’t have an immediate crisis in terms of Debt.”
-Barack Obama- March 13, 2013-

I used to give the man the benefit of the doubt that he wasn’t stupid, only misinformed and on another agenda. Now, I am beginning to think that he is stupid, along with being misinformed and on another agenda. Here is my reasoning for this.

He says he listens to us. Well, if he does, then he is ignorant of the workings of the office that he has held for the last four years. And to hold an office for that long, and still not be able to grasp the concept of what he is supposed to do by law, is sheer stupidity.

There, I said it. Barack Obama may be smart, but he is a stupid man.

Here is a way to know that America has its defenders, even though none of them are in the White House. Think of this analogy. The sheep pretend the wolf will never come. But the sheepdog lives for that day. The sheep I am talking about are Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, John Kerry, John McCain, and all the others who try to keep telling us that nothing is wrong. They will take care of us. There is never anything for us to worry about. The wolf will never reach our doors.

The Sheepdog though, are the people who are awake. We know the wolf will come, and many of us know that the wolf is already here. It is the sheepdog, *the people* who will eventually save this nation…..if the ones that are asleep still, wake up soon enough.

The liberals in our government have been doing enough lying about the wolf lately, that I would think it impossible that there are those who are still snoozing and not aware…..but the sad part is, there are many who are still asleep to the troubles that plague our land and the President who like the sheep, think the wolf will never come because he is in charge. Him and all like him are the reason the wolf is coming. If not here already.

God Bless America
God Bless our Troops
God Bless us to stop the wolves in the next election.

Our Dysfunctional Politicians

Before we start on this post, let me tell you a little bit about myself and my background with firearms.

I grew up in the country outside of Terre Haute, Indiana.  My father taught me to shoot a .22 rifle when I was 5, and gave me my own .22 rifle for Christmas at 12 years old that I still have to this day.  We had a place off the driveway that we would shoot down into a small valley at soda cans and a few targets.  Later in college, I was a member of a marksmanship team that traveled around the Great Lakes Region competing in NCAA sanctioned matches which included the prestigious Camp Perry.  My father and I reloaded our ammunition for the larger calibers, and I also competed locally.  Occasionally, the local chipmunk population had to be thinned out as well as other vermin.  There were other, less happy times as well involving firearms (link here near the end of the post).  Through all of this, I learned that firearms are not toys, were tools to be used and respected just like a table saw, and must be handled properly to be safe.  Improper handling can lead to disaster, not only for yourself, but to others as well.

It should then not be a surprise that I support the 2nd Amendment, and oppose gun control banning, especially legislation proposed by Senator Diane Feinstein and the rest of her ilk.  What gun control banning implies is that the good Senator does not trust the population with weapons of any kind, and in the same stroke, disarm law-abiding citizens.  That in itself is a crime against the citizens who are honest, hard-working, and wish only to provide for & protect their families.

Professor Gary Kleck of the Florida State School of Criminology and Criminal Justice performed a study on defensive gun use.  During this study, estimates from 2.2 to 2.5 million incidents in which a gun was used to avert or prevent a crime were cited , although Professor Kleck does weed down this estimate by the time he gets to his conclusions.  A statement in his conclusion caught my eye:

“Since as many as 400,000 people a year use guns in situations where the defenders claim that they “almost certainly” saved a life by doing so, this result cannot be dismissed as trivial. If even one-tenth of these people are accurate in their stated perceptions, the number of lives saved by victim use of guns would still exceed the total number of lives taken with guns. It is not possible to know how many lives are actually saved this way, for the simple reason that no one can be certain how crime incidents would have turned out had the participants acted differently than they actually did. But surely this is too serious a matter to simply assume that practically everyone who says he believes he saved a life by using a gun was wrong.”

I look at this statement, and start thinking of the statistics, figures, arguments and statements used by the gun control banning crowd as their reasons for legislation that would disarm and remove personal protection options from people, and I have to shake my head in bewilderment.  I can think of the statement, “If it saves one life…”, apply it to the above study, and turn the gun control ban argument back around on these people.  Somehow, Senator Feinstein, Mayor Bloomberg, Governor Cuomo, and others believe that they know better than the American Public on how to keep everyone safe (even if the afore mentioned politicians have security surrounding them at all times and we don’t).

But in reality, after all the facts and figures are presented, discussed, argued, and picked apart, their reasoning for gun control bans boil down into one statement:  Guns are evil and must be banned because someone could get hurt.  As Col. Potter would exclaim, “Horse Hockey!!”

Guns are inanimate objects.  They don’t have feelings, nor are they likely to jump down off of a table and attack someone.  No, it is the person using the gun that will determine if the use for the gun is for criminal or legal activities.  This is not the politically correct view of where people are inherently good and the weapon is inherently bad.  To which I would then ask…

If guns are responsible for crime, then what about crimes that are committed with hammers, knives, baseball bats, tire irons, steam irons, fists, feet, fireplace pokers, statuettes, desk phones, candlesticks, rope, lead pipes, pipe wrenches, etc…?  Did those items (even when directly attached to a person) cause the person to go apes**t and commit a crime?  The argument may be silly and inane, but I would like to think that you, the reader, would get the point that the person, not the object, is solely responsible for their actions.

Our gun control ban friends don’t think about that.  Crime is something that some of them believe that can be legislated away, even though it is a proven fact that criminals disobey laws every day of the year!  If the premise of passing legislation prevents crime were true, then rapes, robberies, murders, drug abuse, and drunk driving are now no longer a problem.  You and I know, the sane people, that this is not the case.

However, some of our gun control ban friends do recognize that crime is a problem.  But their solutions for people’s personal safety are anything but safe.  For instance:

Need I go on?  Are you starting to see the insanity, or perhaps the insensitivity, of our gun control banning politicians giving us advice concerning our safety and at the same time trying to remove our rights to self defense with a firearm?

Now I know that Wayne LaPierre of the NRA was flamed for making the statement, “The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is with a good guy with a gun.”  But stop and think:  What are you doing when you call the police for help if you believe your life is in danger?  You’re calling a good guy with a gun, and that’s only if you have the opportunity to make that call.

But how long is it going to take them to get to you after you make the call?  I read somewhere that the average response time in my area for an officer to show up at my door is 8 minutes.  In other sections of the country, it’s far longer (30 minutes plus).   Sandy Hook was reported to be 20 minutes, although the time was probably around 11 minutes.  Believe me, even 5 minutes is an eternity to wait for help if you are being attacked.

Gun control banning legislation only benefits the criminal element in our society.  Our gun control banning politicians do not seem to realize that their legislation removes the Rights of the People to protect themselves…or maybe they do, and do not care because they have an agenda.

I would like to close out this post with the following statements:

I have purposefully kept the terms Liberal, Conservative, Republican, and Democrat out of this post.  There are reasons for that –

  • Not all Conservatives are pro-gun
  • Not all Liberals are anti-gun
  • Not all Republicans are Conservatives
  • Not all Democrats are Liberal

The elected officials, our representatives, must be evaluated on their positions and their actions, and not by their political party affiliation.  These politicians are ultimately responsible to We the People, and can be hired, rehired, or fired every election cycle.  Did the politician serve your interests and uphold the laws of the United States, the US Constitution w/the Bill of Rights, & the Constitution of your state?  This is their job evaluation, and you are their boss.  If so, then vote for them.  If not, then vote for their competition.  This is how We the People ultimately affect our will upon the politicians if they do not respond to our letters, emails, and phone calls on issues that concern us.

CPAC Happened, and the world is still spinning.

Now as soon as I’m done speaking, I’ll tell you what the criticism on the left is going to be. Number one, he drank too much water, and number two, that he didn’t offer any new ideas. And there’s the fallacy of it. We don’t need a new idea. There is an idea. The idea is called America. And it still works.”
-Marco Rubio at CPAC 2013-

CPAC was a hit again. It passed as it always does, and now we are all waiting for the democrats response to things like Marco Rubio said above, or what he said here:

“China’s goal should be to surpass the United States as the world’s preeminent military and economic power………….Do we want that to be the leading country in the world? We want that to be the leading voice on this planet? That’s the stakes. That’s what’s at stake in America’s greatness…….there is an idea, the idea is America, and it still works. You want proof that it still works? Look around the world today. Who are they copying? They’re not copying the former Soviet Union. They’re not copying Russia. They’re not even copying China. They are copying us. With every step towards free enterprise, millions of people all over the world are emerging from poverty. Millions of people all over the world are emerging from generational poverty, because they were inspired by the American idea. They may claim to hate us… but they sure would like to be us.”

Now isn’t that the truth? Marco Rubio hit that one out of the park folks. He really did, and like I said, I am still waiting for the democrats response. It will come, mark my words here, but when what is said is the truth, it takes some time for them to come up with a plausible lie. The problem has always been is, we have always fallen for it. But not anymore.

We have people out there in positions of leadership who are finally espousing our ideals. The ideals of America. And the left? They are saying our ideals are stupid and ridiculous. They are criticizing our every speech and our every stand, as if it is the worst thing that America has ever had to endure. Yet, they get pissed off when we talk about the things that they have been doing and the laws they are breaking each and every day.

They get mad and incensed because deep down they know we are right and they are wrong. They know it but they will not admit it. So they make up stories to counter our truths, with their own brand of the truth. They lie.

And all the speeches at CPAC this year were great ones. Rick Perry went after McCain saying that he is NO CONSERVATIVE, and we all know that is true, but he is always telling us he is the only Conservative out here.

I remember in the election of 2008 I kept hearing how McCain was the best one out there for the GOP because he was the only Conservative out here. But Perry said this about that election and the last one:

“The popular media narrative is that this country has shifted away from conservative ideals, as evidenced by the last two presidential elections. That’s what they think. That’s what say. That might be true if Republicans had actually nominated conservative candidates in 2008 and 2012,….might be true.

But now we’re told our party must shift appeal to the growing hispanic demographic. Let me tell you something about what appeals to Hispanics in states like Texas. It is the free enterprise agenda that allows small businesses to prosper. Free of government interference. It’s the policies that value the family unit as the best and closest form of government. It’s the belief in life and the faith in God. No one. No one who risked life and limb to reach our shores comes here hoping for a government handout.

They want opportunity. They want freedom and they want a better shot at providing for their families. And that is true whether they are first generation Americans or like a lot of Hispanics in Texas, families living here a long time before Davy Crockett, and James Bowie and Sam Huston made their way south. My friends, this is what we as Conservatives stand for. We’re not the people of equal outcomes of quotas of race based appeals or the cradle to the grave nanny state. We’re the people who say everyone….EVERYONE deserves a shot. But success is only the product of hard work and innovation. We’re the ideology that is blind to color and is solely grounded in the merit system. We are compassionate, without being cynical. Government can be a tool to self-improvement, and self empowerment. Not self entrapment.

These ideals are as old as America, and they will live on as the prevailing sentiment long after we’re gone.”

This ideal of self entrapment is something from the left…..not from the right. But sadly, portions of the right, like the parts the include John McCain and Lindsey Graham do include the ideals of self entrapment. Which is the reason that we have to vote these people out of office, and the sooner the better.

America is at a precipice. And the time has come for the people to take back our government and throw out all the bums who will not follow the Constitution because it is too restrictive or too “flawed”. I do not need to name these people who feel this way, because we have all heard them talk about the Constitution in these ways. Mark my words here folks. These people need to be gotten rid of. The speakers at the CPAC this year spoke of the ideals that we as Americans need to adhere to or we will be the last generation with a free and liberty loving America.

In a breakout session, Pat Caddell, a Fox News Contributor and Democrat Pollster who helped Jimmy Carter’s 1976 Presidential victory blasted the GOP and “Republican consutants who play wealthy donors like marks.”

“Romney inexplicably allowed Obama to define him without fighting back. If Obama had a 50% favorable rating on election day, he had an 80% chance of winning. If he had a 45% favorable rating on election day, he had a 90% chance of losing. On election day, Obama’s favorable rating was 51% because Republicans failed to hold him down.

“A majority of the people wanted to repeal Obamacare, [an issue that] the Republican Party abandoned,…….on the issue of bigger or smaller government, one-third of the people who want smaller government voted for Obama.’

I just bet you didn’t know that one did you? That one third of the people who wanted smaller government voted for Obama. What does that tell you of how the GOP is running things? I would say, the truth is coming out. And it is going to be really hard to put it back into the closet now.

First time in 92 years….

Obama is the first President in 92 years to submit a budget after the House has.
-The Blaze, Real News-

We have this fact, and now Paul Ryan has submitted a budget that will save trillions over a ten-year period. This is not what this country needs, but it is a hell of a lot better than anyone has offered over the past several decades. But the real clincher came when our stupid friend, Harry Reid, lambasted the Paul Ryan budget as extreme and unworkable. Harry, it’s a hell of a lot better than anything you have submitted over the last 4 years now, isn’t it??!? So all I can say about this is LOOK WHO’S TALKING?

Harry Reid is NOT the person who needs to be talking about a budget, even if he is finally ready to follow the constitutional law and actually submit one, because he hasn’t submitted one single one in the last four years! He has had several budgets on his desk in four years, but hasn’t done anything with them except let them sit. Breaking the law by doing that.

Harry Reid says the Paul Ryan budget is scary, but, it still allows for growth and more spending each year which the democrats love!!! Do you people who are staying uninformed, hear this stupidity? Do you see what Harry Reid is doing here? He hasn’t had the cahones to submit one single budget in four years but he has everything bad to say about anyone else who will probably because the ones submitted do not allow him to spend as much as he wants. Remember now, he has had at least several budgets on his desk that were passed and submitted by the house. Even had one from Obama. NOT ONE HAS BEEN PASSED in four years. How do you people who are still voting for the democrats continue to believe the Republicans are to blame for what is going on now?

The democrats are finally saying they are going to submit a budget, and in it, they are actually going to be turning off the sequester budget cuts, though they won’t admit that now, but it is in there, mark my words. And if this doesn’t work, you know they will blame the Republicans.

They say their budget will cut 1.5 trillion from the deficit, but it is mostly in tax increases and 800,000 in spending cuts…but the spending cuts are from future spending…..spending that hasn’t happened yet……and those spending cuts are from increases in spending that is totally unnecessary anyway. So even with their cuts, the spending each year is still more than the last year!

We all know what future spending cuts for the government mean to the democrats? To them, they are something that can be gotten rid of in the future before they are instituted, by making us think that we are getting something else in their place. Or, they hope that we will forget those budget cuts were even promised. Though that isn’t likely because if it was likely to happen, it would have by now. Wouldn’t you think? At least this time.

People, our government is not on our side anymore, and the longer it takes us to realize this, the closer to the edge of oblivion this country will get. Common Sense should tell you that. We need to get rid of everyone who thinks like Harry Reid, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Nancy Pelosi.

Sadly, Common Sense is non-existent in the democrat party’s left today, and mostly absent from the GOP too. The ones holding this country in a light that warrants help, is the Conservative Right.
Do we really doubt how much trouble this nation is in financially? If you still doubt it people, you need to read and research what is going on. If you continue to listen to the media and the politicians you will continue to be lied to. Obama is lying, Pelosi is lying, Reid is lying, McCain is lying Schumer is lying……get the picture?

Why McCain is wrong now, and was wrong in 2008

I’m of the party of Ronald Reagan and there’s been a debate in our party for years and years about whether we should withdraw to fortress America or not. But to say we’re interventionists is a mislabeling and absolutely false.”
John McCain on FoxNews-

I remember this kind of rhetoric in the first election of Obama, when John McCain told us that he was the only Conservative out here. A statement so preposterously wrong, that time has shown us the truth of it, in everyone’s eyes but John’s.

As a Conservative, John McCain would not have gone against Rand Paul in his filibuster for freedom the other night, and would NOT side with Obama on many issues. On both of those examples I just gave my friends, sadly, he does. And this makes him less of a conservative than almost all of us. He, by telling us he is conservative and he is “the party of Ronald Reagan” shows me that he has no clue as to what a Conservative or Ronald Reagan really stood for.

What America needs now folks is a true conservative. A Constitutional, and fiscal Conservative who can lead this country out of the horrible mess that our current president has put us in.

Now, granted, the mess was started before Obama got to office, but look at some of these facts, that John McCain is totally ignoring here when he speaks out against Paul.

First off, Rand Paul’s argument the other night was not what McCain was asserting. On Fox John McCain was asserting this:

Smith first recapped viewers and showed video of McCain and his colleague Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) mocking and criticizing Paul’s filibuster. McCain, reading from an editorial in the Wall Street Journal, called it a “stunt” meant only to “fire up impressionable libertarian kids in their college dorms.”

“No one is going to be struck by a Hellfire missile from a drone that is not an enemy combatant,” McCain said. “That is a fact.”

Instead, McCain said Congress should be focusing on real issues like the massacre in Syria and North Korea’s nuclear capability. He added that the U.S. should not be debating “the impossible scenario.”

The “impossible scenario” Mr. McCain? It seems that you didn’t watch the whole filibuster, and you didn’t listen to what Senator Rand Paul, and other senators were saying. as the Kentucky senator repeatedly made it clear that he doesn’t believe the government would actually drop a missile on an American citizen. Instead, he said he wanted assurance from the White House that the executive branch does not have that kind of power under the U.S. Constitution. Got it Johnny boy? And to top it off sir, we know you were with Obama having dinner with him while Rand Paul was fighting for our freedoms and liberty. You felt it was more important to be with Obama and work on compromise.

The Republican senator (Rand Paul) did admit that there should be more transparency and oversight on the federal government’s drone program, but again stressed that the government would never drop Hellfire missiles on Americans inside the United States. Now, if you had been listening to this historic event John, you would have heard this. But you didn’t. Instead, you flew off the handle and got on your false bandwagon and again tried to convince us all that you are the “only conservative out here,” when you are so far from conservatism and conservative values that a lemming following you could see it. Sadly, John, we the people see it too.

We have to look at what is going on here.

On the night of March 6th, the Senator from Kentucky Rand Paul stood proudly for liberty. His concern was surrounded by the recent INABILITY or Non statements from the Obama administration to answer a simple, straightforward question about drone strikes in America. His question was simple John, whether it was Constitutional for the president to execute Americans *which has been done by Obama by the way in Yemen*, without a trial, without due process and without them posing an imminent threat to America simply because he thinks they ‘might’. That was the question Rand Paul and others that night were trying to get answered. There is more too.

Mr McCain, Obama was not answering that question, until this happened. Rand Paul had been asking for a month and a half, and Obama was ignoring him. So stop telling us the lie that you are the party of Reagan, when you are no such thing.

Senator John McCain, you were wrong in 2008, and you are wrong now. You are no conservative sir, and with your constant siding with Obama and the left, you will never be a Conservative. Ronald Reagan would roll over in his grave to hear you say you have the same values as he did. Because you don’t. PERIOD!

God Bless America
God Bless our troops
God Bless us to see the lies when they are told

Deadly Denial–Conclusion

This is the last post in a series that hopefully will show that sticking our collective heads in the sand is not conducive for not only our health, but the health of our country.

“America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” – Abraham Lincoln

“We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.” – Abraham Lincoln

“Don’t interfere with anything in the Constitution. That must be maintained, for it is the only safeguard of our liberties.” – Abraham Lincoln

“No man is good enough to govern another man without the other’s consent.” – Abraham Lincoln

“The course of history shows that as a government grows, liberty decreases.” – Thomas Jefferson

“What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that the people preserve the spirit of resistance?” – Thomas Jefferson

“The United States Constitution (c) 1791. All Rights Reserved” – Bumper Sticker

Who among the readers of this post believes that the government of the United States is fully functioning as mandated by the Constitution of the United States after events in our nation’s capital this past week?  How about over the past few years?  Not many, I would hope.

In what should have been a routine question concerning the rights of the People of the United States (specifically, the Fifth Amendment), the Attorney General of the United States waffled on the question if the President of the United States has the power to order the execution by a missile of an American Citizen on American soil.  While he later clarified his position, the question still remains – Does the President have the power to order the execution / assassination of an American Citizen anywhere in the world?  According to the Fifth Amendment, no. The Amendment reads:

“No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.”

“…nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law;”  In other words, the President does not have the authority of his office to order the killing of an American Citizen without due process.

Now I fully understand that Anwar al-Aulaqi, an American Citizen, was a high-ranking member of Al-Qaeda, the terrorist organization that is responsible for multiple attacks upon the citizens of many countries including the United States.  However, as an American Citizen, he had the rights of due process, which I believe were violated.  People reading this post may vehemently disagree with this statement, but are we a nation of laws, or we a nation of suggestions?  Stop and think about that for a little bit.

Between the unprecedented targeted killing of an American (al-Aulaqi) overseas and the confusing response by the Attorney General to what should have been a simple question, Senator Rand Paul launched into an almost 13-hour filibuster to the nomination of the next Director of the CIA.  The Attorney General clarified his position with a statement the next day – I personally am not satisfied with his response.

The above is only one, small chapter in the ever expanding mini-series depicting the misdeeds and missteps of our government.  Let’s take a brief look at one that is literally changing the lives of everyone in this country right now – the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), otherwise known as ObamaCare.

The goal is to reduce the number of people without health-care insurance, and thus reduce the overall health-care costs.  A noble cause, would you not agree?  However…

…It needs to be realized that ultimately, someone will have to pay for insuring the formerly uninsurable.  Those people are the working stiffs like you and I.  Already, the unintended consequences and costs are being revealed as I knew they would be.  Companies are cutting hours of their workers, or letting them go entirely.  Deductible limits are starting to climb higher for those people with company provided insurance, and some companies are considering dropping their insurance plans completely, paying the fine, and allowing their employees fend for themselves.  And I’m already seeing some of my taxes increase to cover this law, and I’m fully expecting the tax bill to rise every single year to cover the provisions of this law.

ObamaCare, no matter what your opinion is of it, is a bad law.  It solves nothing, impedes or restricts the freedoms of the People by forcing them into purchasing a product (health insurance) that they may not want, and to pay additional taxes & fees to support those who cannot.

And guess what – they’re not done yet.  The ObamaCare legislation is only a framework – over 25,000 pages of regulations have been written and I understand that no end is in sight as the various agencies write more and more regulations, clarifications, mandates, and who knows what else.

We cannot depend on the Supreme Court to protect us from bad law as passed by Congress and signed by the President.  Chief Justice Roberts had this to say in his decision to uphold ObamaCare:

“Members of this court are vested with the authority to interpret the law; we possess neither the expertise nor the prerogative to make policy judgments.  Those decisions are entrusted to our nation’s elected leaders, who can be thrown out of office if the people disagree with them. It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices.”

Our government is growing by leaps and bounds every single day, and there is no end in sight that this ravenous beast will ever be satisfied until it collapses upon itself in fiscal insolvency and it’s own weight.

The conclusion that I’m coming to is that out government is broken, and needs to be fixed not by the politicians (who are showing themselves to being increasingly incompetent), but by the People.  A quote from Abraham Lincoln states:

“The people will save their government, if the government itself will allow them.” – Abraham Lincoln

Denying that We The People have the responsibility for electing the government that we have to represent us is self-destructive for both the citizens of this country and of the country itself.  We The People have no choice in the matter – Take back our government by electing people that are honorable, respect the Constitution and the People, and make the hard choices to bring this country back from the brink.   Otherwise, we will no longer have a country to be proud of nor to live in.  And that, my friends, is deadly, for where else in the world is there a place to live other than our great, declining nation?

The Rise of the Hollow People…..

The generation of my parents were people who were raised to believe to fend for themselves and to have innerstrength and courage. You took care of yourself and your family and you did what was necessary to keep them fed and clothed. Now, those type of people are gone and they are being replaced with a new breed of people called the “Hollow People”. People who depend on the approval of others and who have been fooled into thinking they are entitled to things they did not earn. They have been infected with the “I must please everybody syndrome” and as a result they cannot be just themselves anymore. They are being told they must fit into a certain mold and look and act a certain way if they want to fit in. It has become the brainwashing of America resulting in the loss of its collective heart, soul and mind. It has also given way to the rise of the narcisist, and people who feel they are self entitled to anything they want without having to earn it. They don’t want to have to work for anything any more. It’s no wonder Romney lost when he said he wanted to bring jobs to people because nobody wants to work and be self-sufficient. That just isn’t in the cards, the way the liberals have taught us.

It’s no wonder the waiting rooms of psychologists are so full nowadays. So many people have lost the meaning of who and what they are supposed to be and what role they are supposed to fill in life that they have lost touch with who and what they really are. They are expected to live a cookie cutter life, in a cookie cutter neighborhood, with their cookie cutter family that they have become emotional zombies.

People from the Victorian age had their strengths of character, but they also had a lot of inner fears they never showed the world. Today, people are wearing their feelings on their collective sleeves and are offended if someone dares to disagree with them. As a result there is no strength of character anymore.

When we do find someone with uncommon strength of character and mind, like Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio have been demonstrating lately, the others who do not have that strength of mind and character, such as John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Harry Ried, Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama, Joe Biden and any one of the other libs, America hating and apologizing groupies, they just try to tear them down and get them to conform so they will jump into a nice, neat box where they be kept safely, so they can be told what to do and how to think.

What has been happening now with the political correctness fad that is quickly getting out of control, and actually has been for a while now by the liberal left, is resulting in taking and warping the personalities and the minds of the people and turning them into something they are not and were never meant to be. Sadly, these people are not even aware of what is happening to them, thus the rise of the zombies who want to kill our souls and minds.

With this comes the rise of the ‘Hollow People’. People who have been made into zombies so to speak. They are lost souls who cannot speak or think for themselves anymore. They have been made into a people who will follow leaders off the edge of a cliff because they have been programmed into thinking they won’t get hurt and that there are no consequences to anything. Government will always take care of them because, after all, they are ‘entitled’ to it. They have traded their will for material things, losing themselves in the process.

It mirrors the Bible passage in Mark 8:36-37 where it states: “For what will it profit them to gain the whole world and forfeit their life? Indeed, what can they give in return for their life?”. (NRSV) Indeed, what do the ‘Hollow People’ have to give to anyone but more hollowness, emptiness and lies? What has happened to truth and justice? It may be on life support, but there are still people left who have not given up on it and we need to vote these people into office.

I also want to leave you with one more Bible passage to think about today on this topic, Proverbs 14:12, “There is a way that seems right to a person, but its end is the way to death.” (NRSV) I don’t know about anyone else, but I want truth and life.

God bless America
God bless our troops
God bless us to use more common sense when voting

South Dakota passes Law allowing teachers to carry guns……

With a signature from Gov. Dennis Daugaard, South Dakota officially passed into law Friday a bill which will explicitly allow the state’s teachers to carry a firearm in the classroom.
The Daily Caller

After what seems an eternity watching the liberal media and the liberal left in this country work hard to disassemble this nation, things are happening that are good. Rand Paul the other night, bringing the left and some who say they are Republicans to war against us and the nation. Shrilly exclaiming that we are all wrong and they are the only things standing that will keep this nation going, when they are what is tearing it down.

But like I said, there are good things happening. Which is the point of this short post. South Dakota has passed a law now that allows teachers to carry guns in the classroom. This my friends is a good thing and shows that people are seeing what is going on. Like Israel who has passed this same law, has teachers carry firearms all the time….and school violence by gunfire has diminished to zero. Now, South Dakota has done the same thing. Here is more from the article in the Daily Caller.

From The New York Times:

While some other states have provisions in their gun laws that make it possible for teachers to be armed, South Dakota is believed to be the first state to pass a law that specifically allows teachers to carry firearms.

About two dozen states have proposed similar bills since the shootings in December at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., but all of them have stalled.

For those of us on the Conservative Right, we can feel proud of the fact that things are starting to turn around. It may not be much, but at least things are happening. This law in South Dakota is a good start. But we have to stay vigilant. The left and the media are going to have a field day with this, and tell of all the statistics that they say happen about how this is a bad thing, and we are going to have children die because of it. Watch it cause this is their mantra. What they say is not the truth and it cannot be proven, so if you start to fall for their lies on this one, cause they are coming, do your own research. You will feel deep in your heart they are not telling the truth and your feelings will be true.

What happened the other night with Rand Paul was a great thing, and it is going to lead to more great things. We just cannot afford to be stopped in our advancement here. Watch out for the left and their lies. Cause believe me, they are coming, and their lies right along with them.

New News from our Idiot-in-Chief, Obama

Sixty-thousand federal employees responsible for securing the nation’s borders and facilitating trade will be furloughed for as many as 14 days starting next month because of $85 billion in cross-government spending cuts.
-NewsMax.com-

I swear, no matter how many times this man in the white house is told that the cuts amount to next to nothing, he continues with his idiocy with the thinking that we are dumber than he is.

The thought that he thinks we are stupid enough to fall for this is beyond the pale. Just because most of the people who follow him blindly over the cliff, and the mainstream media, who does the same thing, will believe this drivel, doesn’t mean the rest of us do.

But there is so much going on today that it is impossible to write about it all. And so far as I have seen, NONE OF THIS IS GOOD!

The first point that I brought up about Obama furlonging 60,000 of our border agents because his “future spending budget” has been cut by less than 2% is insane to say the least. Anyone who cannot go with 2% less is an idiot. And Obama is our Idiot in Chief. But there are so many others.

Lindsay Graham and John McCain are right now becoming another two.

Lindsay Graham is saying what is the difference between Bush and Obama on this “drone” question. Because Bush had the drones too. The thing that Graham is missing here, is Bush never used them on an American citizen. Obama has. And the question that Rand Paul asked was, Because Obama has struck an American citizen in Yemen, could he do it here? That is the question, Mr. Grahamnesty. I think Lindsay Graham needs to be installed in the douche hall of fame. He had the gall to compare how many Americans were killed by al-Qaeda, at about 2900, and how many have been killed by drones. He said none. He is wrong, there was one, who I mentioned above.

The problem we have is the media is on a “full-on rager” against us conservatives, Glenn Beck, and anyone else who is trying to defend the Constitution. Where the problem comes in, is when we are proven right, the media and all these who continue on this “full-on rager”, seem to forget that they were against us because we were wrong. And if we bring up the fact that they were the ones that were wrong…….then we get lambasted for it. And no one stands up and says anything.

But we, as Conservative Americans, had something going on the other night with Rand Paul that I guarantee you, was and is a BIG THING, and it is the start of something that is not going to go away. That is the reason why Chris Matthews, John McCain, Lindsay Graham and all the rest who do not want to defend America, are on this “full on rager.” They don’t want to be proven wrong, and they know that they are going to be. So they are working overtime to try to convince the American people, that Rand Paul was wrong, when in fact he was as right as he could possibly be.

This country is spiralling downward under the leadership of Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, and the GOP hierarchy with the likes of John McCain and Lindsay Grahamnesty, and it is like I have said before. It is time to take all these idiots in office, out of office, and replace them with someone like Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, and Marco Rudio, who have nothing but saving America at heart. PERIOD. We don’t do this simple thing, and America as a free nation, is on its last run. When we are gone, there will be no other place to run to.

God Bless America
God Bless our Troops
God Bless us all to start doing what we need to do, to save America

Stand with Rand….Trying to stop the Road to Surfdom

“For God’s sake, where are the democrats?”
tweet from John Cusack last night

The freedoms we are giving away today will not be so easily gotten back when we decide we do want them. We are on the Road to serfdom, and the farther down that road we allow the democrats to take us, the harder it will be to return. The founding fathers had to go to war to get their freedoms, and it is coming to that point where we may have to think about going back to war, only against our own government in order to get back the freedoms and liberty that Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, and several others last night stood with Rand in the filibuster to get their questions answered from the White house. The quote shown above shows the scary part of what is going on. When even a liberal like John Cusack makes sense.

It seems our president has forgotten the chain of command here in our government, and he seems to think that if he wants something, that he is in charge, so therefore no one should question him about his decisions.

In Obama’s eyes, he is not a president, but our monarch and he doesn’t have to answer for anything he is doing. The rally cry last night from ocean to ocean was Stand with Rand. And I had the CSPAN2 feed coming into my computer so I could watch it. And it was great. The democrats didn’t like it one little bit, but finally, Dick Durbin of Illinois stood and talked for a little bit, in an effort to just get his name into the mix. One that didn’t talk, and this completely disappointed me, was my own senator, Dan Coats. I think I am going to have to write him and ask him why he didn’t stand with Rand.

I have to say, I am proud of Rand Paul for standing up for what is right. It seems that most of the politicians today will not do that. Another I am proud of is Ted Cruz, and Marco Rubio. These men are giving us all a lesson in what it means to be a servant of the people, and we all need to listen. And this includes Obama, and Reid and Pelosi too.

I am not going to apologise for my opinions here. After all, America as long as there are us out here who are willing to fight for our freedoms and liberties, our freedom to say what we want, as long as we are willing to pay the consequences is okay. That is the difference between me and someone on the left. They want the rights to say what they want without the consequences. But, our freedom of speech also comes with those responsibilities. Something the left has long since forgotten.

One of the things that is coming because of the way that Obama is running this country, is today, North Korea has said that they would not hesitate to fire a nuke at the United States, putting the capital in “a ball of fire”. Under a president like George W Bush or Reagan, they wouldn’t have said that because there would have been consequences. Today, there is no such thing to stop aggression against us. If you look at what is going on here in America, you will see the downward spiral this country has been put into by her leadership.

This is a grave concern for us Americans.

God Bless America
God Bless our Troops
God Bless us to open our eyes and see the danger we are in.
