“It was almost a false argument to say the U.S has a spending problem. The deficit is the problem.”
It totally amazes me. I grew up in an era when if you didn’t know what you were talking about, or, if you were about to say something stupid, you didn’t. You didn’t want to make a fool of yourself. The people of today, don’t have that stigma. They don’t care if they show as idiots, or imbiciles or morons. They seem to revel in that. Nancy Pelosi is just another one of those morons.
And no matter how they will be perceived in history, they continue on blithely saying stupid things to see how much they can get away with. The time is gone it seems when we had politicians who would say things like “It’s a nasty truth, but those who seek to inflict harm, are not fazed by gun control laws.” That statement, which was true then is still true today, was said by Ronald Reagan.
One thing that I have to end this post with is a speech by Dr. Benjamin Carson of Johns Hopkins Hospital, Pediatric Neurosurgery Division Director, at the National Prayer Breakfast, with Obama and Moochel sitting right there….and you can see Obama’s face showing that he knows that the things said in this speech were directed at his administration. It is great to watch Obama during the whole speech. He tries to keep his nose in the air but it keeps dropping and he keeps looking down. At one point he closes his eyes and just sits still for a while…before trying to look up again like he is arrogant…though, again, not for long. So ending this ….. enjoy this great speech by this great man.
