For Obama, where is the good news?

From the Obama administration’s view of things good news abounds everywhere. The economy is growing robustly, unemployment is down, things are looking brighter. But, that is from Obama’s view of things. What is really happening is quite the opposite. The economy is still bad. If we were under a republican president with the economy the way it is, this would be touted as the worst economy EVER! But because everyone is covering for the little boy child in the White House, all they report is roses and candy.

Unemployment has lately gone back up to over 9%. But to Obama and crew, this isn’t a bad thing. Give him time to get the changes he promised. Or so he says. In all actuality, we already have the changes he had in mind. And unemployment is really at about 17%! In January a total of something like 1.5 million dropped off of the unemployment rolls. Not because they found jobs, OH NO. Nothing like that. It’s because they gave up trying to find jobs, or their unemployment benefits ran out. Either way, they drop off the unemployment rolls so unemployment seems to drop too. NOTHING COULD BE FARTHER FROM THE TRUTH.

And the lies that Obama has told us in the last three years have gotten to a point where we cannot even count them anymore.

His latest goofball idea came last week when he proposed that we start building cars that could run on fuel made from Algae. And I had to laugh today when I went to my online newspaper, the American Liberty Gazette, and found this article on the subject of Algae cars. All it was, was the words to the song Angie by the Rolling Stones, and it was changed to Algae. Went like this……to the melody of Angie:

Algae. Algae.
When will those cars you run appear?
Algae, algae
The process still ain’t too clear

To Obama we give thanks
As we’re fillin’ up our tanks
You can say he patronized
Algae, algae
We’ve lost count of all his lies

You’re plentiful, yeah
But your worth is undefined
I slipped on ya
On that boulder at low tide

People think you’re kinda gross
As you squish between their toes
Scrub you off, you reappear
Algae, algae
With our drains you interfere

Oh, algae, how you creep
In the shallows and the deeps
Can we use ya when we drive?
Algae, algae
Barry’s hopes will you revive?

To Obama we give thanks
As we’re fillin’ up our tanks
You can say he patronized
But algae, we still love ya, baby
Some use for you we will devise
There ain’t a fuel source that comes close to you
At least that’s what we theorize

But algae, algae
You’re called nori when you’re dried
Algae, algae
Hey, at least Obama tried

I had to laugh at that. The post on The Daily Caller with Jim Treacher that had this was genius. If it was Jim who made this up, kudos to you. As for good news when it comes to Obama….that song I think is the only good news, and it’s good news cause it’s funny and true. If you want to see the article, it is on my paper, at The American Liberty Gazette. If you get there after it has been removed, go to The Daily Caller.

May God Bless our efforts to help get America back, and put God back into our country
God Bless America, Bless all Americans, and bless us to start using more common sense.

“Algae, Algae…” HILARIOUS!!!! Thanks so much for posting this, Robert. As serious as things are in this country right now, sometimes humor is the best way to say what needs to be said. Thanks again, friend.
reply from Robert: I couldn’t resist posting this one when I read that. I thought it was great. I even ran around work today singing it. Hee hee.
