New poll shows Gingrich with 32% followed by former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney at 19%. Georgia businessman Herman Cain, who led in Iowa last month, drops to third with 13% of the vote. Texas Congressman Ron Paul draws 10% of the vote in Iowa, while Texas Governor Rick Perry and Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann each grab six percent (6%).
On the poll above, for the first time I didn’t put where I got this from. As most polls I don’t listen too, because they are usually wrong or putting up an agenda for the left……or the right. But there is one that I have listen too because it is right a lot. The poll is Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. This one is of likely Iowa Republican caucus-goers. It shows Newt Gingrich in the lead with 32% of the vote. He is followed by Mitt Romney at 19%, then Georia businessman Herman Cain, at 13%. Texas Governor Rick Perry and Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann both at 6%! Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum drew support from five percent (5%) while former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman picks up two percent (2%). Only one percent (1%) would prefer some other candidate and six percent (6%) more are undecided.
The Rasmussen poll is one of the ones that is right more than the others. So report this I will. Rasmussen says that Newt is ahead, while the rest show Obama 45%, Generic Republican 44%, national poll shows Cain 26%, Romney 23% and Gingrich 14%, Obama 45% and Bachmann 33%. Another, a Congressional Ballot shows Republicans 41% and Democrats 41%. Another thing from Rasmussen is where Scott explains to Megyn Kelly, news anchor of Fox News, why Obama is considered a slight underdog in 2012.
But the one for tonight, is the Rasmussen poll saying that Gingrich is at 32% above Romney (19%) and then Cain (13%) A week ago, Cain was on top….and the media was trashing him with complete abandon. Now, with Newt on top, he is the one being trashed. Oh the media is so predictable. And the thing I have said in the last two posts still applies: America is diverse because it’s great. Something that needs to be said until we believe it.
May God Bless our efforts to help get America back, and put God back into our country
God Bless America, Bless all Americans, and bless us to start using more common sense.
