Newt Gingrich: The one that IS actually asking the right questions.

What is amazing to me is the inability of much of our academic world, much of our news media, and most of the people on Occupy Wall Street to have a clue about history. In this town Henry Ford started as an Edison Electric supervisor who went home at night and built his first car in the garage. Now, was he in the 99% or the 1%?

I thought that the answer that Newt gave to Jim Cramer during the debate was great. Jim’s question to Newt on the other hand was downright stupid. “Speaker Gingrich, do you think that companies can both be profitable and be able to create jobs? You think that’s a dichotomy?” I think that I almost fell out of my seat when I heard that stupid question. I mean, I think even a fifth grader knows that if a company is making a profit, they would hire more people. But Newt’s answer was just the greatest, and finally, someone said it.

Bill Gates drops out of college to found Microsoft. Is he in the 1% or the 99%? Historically this is the richest country in the history of the world because corporations succeed in creating both profits and jobs, and it’s sad that the news media doesn’t report accurately how the economy works.

But he didn’t stop there, as the next set of questions that Newt was asked was just as stupid as that one in the debate. I know it might be helpful because how many people are stupid enough to not know it’s possible to be profitable and create jobs. Newt answered the question.

So the next question was Maria Bartiromo of CNBC, who was not happy that Newt ripped into media. They had this little back and forth……

BARTIROMO: What is the media reporting inaccurately about the economy?

NEWT: What?

BARTIROMO: What is the media reporting inaccurately about the economy?

NEWT: I love humor disguised as a question. That’s terrific. I have yet to hear a single reporter ask a single Occupy Wall Street person a single rational question about the economy that would lead them to say, for example, who’s gonna pay for the park you’re occupying if there are no businesses making a profit?

Newt is so right. What’s the media reporting inaccurately about the economy? Everything. Just say everything my friends, and you wouldn’t be far from 100% right. And all I can say is, Right on Newt. Give it to them. At least you had the nerve to tell them the truth…..cause no one else will.

And the other thing I heard lately is, Newt has rescinded his former ideas that he had mentioned about Global Warming. That makes him the smartest candidate out there now. Which is good cause I have always liked him. He has even said that the ad he did with Nancy Pelosi was a bad mistake. I love it.

May God Bless our efforts to help get America back, and put God back into our country
God Bless America, Bless all Americans, and bless us to start using more common sense.

About Robert P. Garding

I am a Reagan Conservative, who is very alarmed at the Liberals who have just lost their majority over our government, but continue to act like it never happened. They have to be stopped. NOW or even sooner.

Although he’s fallen short in the family values department–who hasn’t?–I’ve always liked Newt Gingrich. I’ve always thought he was not only a brilliant conservative thinker but also an excellent communicator of conservative values and ideals. Unfortunately I’m not sure if he can beat Obama and defeating Obama, not electing the most conservative Republican, is the real goal in 2012. Still, I’m heartened that Gingrinch is rising in the polls. Who knows? If Newt gets the nomination he just may pull off an upset, and wouldn’t that be great!
reply from Robert: I think that Newt could beat Obama. I actually think that any of the Republicans could beat Obama. But I also think that Newt is the smartest of the bunch. I saw a poll today that puts him in a tie for second place in the polls with Romney. Cain being on top by a little bit. Maybe we might get someone there who would be good for this nation.

i like what he is saying now. but, what concerns me, is what he has said. he did a commercial with Nancy Pelosi on a couch talking about why we need more Government regulations to help limit the effects of Man Made Global Warming. And, Of Course his big support of Ethanol.
reply from Robert: I didn’t like that either, but he has come out and said that those things were the biggest mistakes of his life and he should never have done them. I like a man who can admit he was wrong. I feel if he makes it to the White House we can hold his feet to the fire. He is by far the smartest of the GOP candidates out there, and he would be very receptive to the will of the people.

Robert, I went to a debate on November 11, 2011, In Hampton New Hampshire. The debate was sponsored by the GSPC PAC and titled GSPC PAC Presidential Debate. It was a great evening. there were four speakers. The first two debaters were OK, but the most knowledgeable, to me were Newt and Santorum, The crowning moment was near the end of the debate between Gringrich and Santorum, a question was asked by the moderator….something to the effect of what do you see as the biggest Constitutional failing of the Obama administration? Santorum, after thinking a moment said He’d pass the question to Nute, who after a slight pause quipped, “Not understanding what country he’s president of” The crowd responded spontaneously by applauding and jumping to their feet as they continued applauding. That response in itself was worth the trip. I don’t know whether or not this was a question to a question, or a statement. The whole debate can be seen on you tube,[ I think that’s what it’s called] You can make your own judgement call. Newt was his usual self. He seemed to have all the right answers. He has a way of framing the answers to questions that take on a historical knowledge basis, not shooting from the hip.
reply from Robert: You are right. Newt has a way of framing his answers in a way that shows not only historical knowledge of what he is talking about, but also, knowledge of what needs to be done to save this country from the mess it is in. Good comment Tap and I am glad you got to go. I wish I could have.
