Horse Sense: What it is, and where has it gone?

Horse Sense. Common Sense. Doing the right thing. Shunning what is wrong. All things that describe what used to be called Horse Sense. What we have going in Washington, is just the opposite.

The other day, Obama in another of his almost daily speeches told Gadhafi that he needed to step down. NO ONE said anything about his campaign promises to not do as Bush did, and, to stay out of other country’s business.

NO……NOT EVEN ON FOX or many of the so called Right Blogs have you heard anything resembling Common Sense when it comes to this.

Common Sense, or “Horse Sense” as it used to be called no longer exists in the true form. We called it horse sense because even a horse, when left to it’s own devices, will come out of the rain, and not stay in it. It will not run through quicksand or do something that it knows will bring it harm. HORSE SENSE. Common sense is the same thing. But today, we have our government telling us that what was right, is now wrong, and no one questions them about it. They tell us something that is inherently wrong, and no one screams out, “NOW WAIT A MINUTE! THAT doesn’t even make sense!” And if by chance someone does, they are labelled either a racist or a terrorist or something worse. Common sense is dead or dying in this world.

Mahmoud Achmadinejad tells the world that the Nazi extermination camps and the extermination of millions of jews *which is well documented by the way* didn’t happen. NO ONE SCREAMS OUT, “Are you nuts?”

This is a sad thing to have to say about everyone. But the ones that are showing common sense now-a-days is not the left. It is the ones that the left is calling terrorists. Yes you got it, the tea party.

Now for you lefties out there, I know saying this will make you mad, but if you look back over the last years, and see how the left and the right act when confronted with something that they don’t like and you will see a totally different way of handling the situation.

The Left gets nasty. Uses four letter words, and intimidation tactics….the right, doesn’t do that. The do things and get away with things like Barney Frank running a male prostitution ring of out of his basement ….. and never having to pay the consequences of that. Tom Foley, gets accused of money laundering or something lame like that and he has to retire.

Ted Kennedy kills a young woman in his car in 1968, while drunk, driving without a drivers license and no insurance, and he stays in the senate till he dies. No Republican would ever get away with that…..let alone stay out of jail.

I have noticed, since I have been watching what is happening to this country since Obama took office, that I get mad when I see someone driving around with a new OBAMA 2012 sticker on their car. Don’t they realize just what is being done to this country that they love? Or, maybe what is happening is what they want, and they don’t love America? That is the only explanation that I can come up with that someone, who supposedly is smart, would still want Obama in the White House. That they don’t love America, or they love the change, or they have NO COMMON SENSE.

Is this country so out of Horse Sense anymore that we can’t see the forest for the trees? I was beginning to think so, until the tea party conservatives showed up on the scene. But the ones that call these America loving patriots terrorists scare me. And if you love America, they should scare you too. Because America cannot afford to go through another 4 years of Obama and the liberal democrats that are in office now.

May God bless our efforts to help get America back, and put God back into our country.
God, Bless America. Bless Americans. And Bless us to start using more common sense.

About Robert P. Garding

I am a Reagan Conservative, who is very alarmed at the Liberals who have just lost their majority over our government, but continue to act like it never happened. They have to be stopped. NOW or even sooner.

I have to agree, Robert. As you personally know, I have lived in Texas, Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Indiana. When I lived in Texas, people did things “Texan style” meaning no one gets to get by with doing wrong. New Mexico, Texas’s neighboring state, believed that no matter what, women didn’t have the rights for anything, including having their husband charged for battery. Arizona, New Mexico’s other neighboring state, just didn’t care either way because they let more former convicts move into their cities and these former convicts seem to have taken over the state. California, on the other hand, cannot seem to grasp reality. Most of their people are allowed to get high, drunk, and party all the time. When it comes to individuals over the age of 40, just pack your bags and find the nearest curb tent because that is your new home. Oh, and your job is now going to a teenager. Indiana is my home but there is no more caring left. When I was a child, I remember my neighbors informing my father about the “activities” I had done that day, even if it meant I would get spanked.
It has always made me wonder where did all the “horse sense” go to, the caring and respect of others and their property, the Pledge of Allegiance, the open prayers, etc. If we are forced to accept seeing gay and lesbian activity on the streets, then we should force the atheist to let us pray and have our country back they way it was when I was growing up. And I want what no only Reagan was doing but what John F. Kennedy started, to rebuild this country back to it’s former self. And above all things, keep our noses out of other countries problems unless being directly affected by it. We did not have to go to war in Iraq but we did because Bush wanted to make a name for himself. He sure did and it was not a good name. Obama is following Bush’s habits which infuriates me to no end. I was excited when we were electing a new face, so young and fresh, even though he didn’t have much experience. If he wants to be elected again, he needs to tell his so called advisers to take a chill pill, go to sleep for a hundred years, then wake up to see how the real world should look; everyone caring for others; everyone having a home and job without the greediness involved; children learning right from wrong and having respect for their parents; everything that was written as it was suppose to be. After all, we had Nostradamus and Pluto telling us what would happen if we didn’t take heed. Did anyone listen then? Nope so now we are in the exact same troubles we were told we would face.

Great post, my friend! It does seem that the only beings who still have horse sense are the horses. Too bad they can’t run for office.
reply from Robert: Agreed. MR ED for president….NO wait…he isn’t alive anymore…..Oh well.
