A minority plus the American people, equals a majority.
Right now, we have the stupidest things going on in Washington and it makes me sick to think that this is happening. We have the media, the left and everything else telling us that we are in disarray and need to change what we are doing because no one is following us now.
Now wait here. We need to change what we are doing? We were elected to do what we are doing. Why do we need to change? The answer is, we don’t.
But Speaker John Boenher is falling in line with the nay sayers, and doing just that. And my question to him is WHY? We were elected to do just what you are stopping. We do not need to give in to the saying that says, we need to try to pass a law that will pass, rather than try to pass something that may not. Thinking like that is what has gotten us into the troubles that we are in now, don’t you know.
But sadly, that is not all. Congressman Paul Ryan, at a town hall meeting in Wisconsin was trying to explain his medicare bill, and what it would do, and the people just would not listen to what he was saying. Kind of like Washington D.C. not listening to what the people are saying huh?
But there is a good thing happening. At the GOP Convention last week, the Republicans actually took it to Obama and his policies. Tim Pawlenty was one of them that did this. There were of course some disappointments as there always are, but a bunch took Obama’s policies to task, and hard. I loved hearing this. This is what is needed. And of course the left went ballistic over it, saying that what is good for the country is not what the republicans are doing.
The only one the left seems enamored about is Mitch Daniels. Someone that I support, but don’t like the fact that the left seems to want him to be our nominee. This to me means they are NOT afraid of him and he has said things that make them think it would be good for them if he made it. I am going to have to research this in the sound bites that were played on Rush yesterday. Rush also thinks Mitch isn’t what we need. I still am not sure of that fact. I think that Mitch Daniels is one of the most Conservative politicians out there right now. Him, Mike Pence, Sarah Palin, Tim Pawlenty, Chris Christie, Dan Coats, Dan Burton and a few others are in this list of Conservatives.
The lady that goes after Mr. Ryan in Wisconsin, at a townhall meeting was just under 55 and already on medicare, and no matter what she was told, she couldn’t get it through her head that the republicans were not going to take her “benefits” away from her. No matter how many time it was explained to her, that her benefits would remain the same, she was sure that she was screwed. That her benefits were at an end. She had heard Ryan explain to her that her benefits wouldn’t go away. But her liberal mindset was such that she knew it was going to be taken.
You see my friends, the liberal mentality that they are “entitled” to have the government take care of them is strong in them. And it’s self preservation is equally as strong. The trouble is, that is not the government’s job, and it has never been meant to be such. The founding fathers never meant for the government to take care of people that way. That is just one of the many many ways the liberal left in this country has mutated the constitution. And the republicans giving in to even just a little bit of this to get some of their ideas passed into law, is not helping any. Because the liberal left in this country never gives. They only take. And the republicans have been great at giving up on their ideals to get a snippet of what they want. AND, That needs to stop. Do you hear me on this John Boehner? I am not alone on this way of thinking. It is like Mike Pence once said. A minority and the American people equals a majority. And right now, Mr. Boehner, you have a huge majority. Stop playing games with it.
May God bless our efforts to help get America back, and put God back into our country.
God, Bless America. Bless Americans. And Bless us to start using more common sense.
