Over time it’s going to be important for nations to know that they’ll be held accountable for inactivity. Your either with us or against us.
-President George W. Bush- after 9/11/2001 speaking to Pakistan
Today, after the great news of Osama bin Laden’s death at the hands of the Navy Seals, Obama ran around making speeches about how this was all about him. He made it a priority to get Osama. He made it a priority to make sure the military was doing what it needed to do to get him……when in all actuality, it was Bush’s plan from the start, and Obama just followed through on that plan. Bush said that ‘no matter how long it took, America would get bin Laden. On the anniversary of Hitler’s suicide, Obama kept Bush’s promise and the Navy seals took Osama bin Laden out.
Now when it came to this decision to do this, Obama finally showed some leadership qualities and the plan was a ballsy one in that it could have very easily turned out like the rescue mission that Carter did. This was a dangerous and delicate mission, and Obama did the right thing by doing it. But taking credit for the whole thing isn’t right. It took a lot more than just him saying it had to be done. The wheels were put in motion for this a long time ago by Bush and his cabinet. And the military carried it out….almost flawlessly. The only thing that went wrong was one of the helicopters didn’t work like it was supposed too, so the Seals went to ‘plan b’ and it went flawlessly, just as it should have.
But this whole thing brings up questions that, as a nation should never have to be asked here. And since no one else seems to want to ask these questions, then I will.
After the Navy Seals, those incredible and remarkable group of young men who went in and took out Osama bin Laden, went in and took him out, they suddenly turned to Islamic law and proceeded to bury him mostly according to that law.
Why? Was it to make them like us more? That isn’t going to happen.
Was it to show them that we are really a good people? That isn’t going to happen either.
Was it to show them that we respect and revere them? If it is, that is stupid because the leaders of Islam have already sworn to repay us for killing Osama. And not in a good way mind you. They want to kill us, and they have sworn to do so, in a near future event against us.
So again, I ask, what was the reason for following Islamic law in burying this clown, who was nothing more than a brutal mass murderer? HMMMMM?
We have to stop cow-towing to everyone in the world who demands we do so. This is doing America no good at all. If anything, it is hurting this nation, and we do not need the worlds help in doing this. We are doing a good enough job on our own.
But what I do not get is this. Why do we feel the need to have to dot all the ‘T’s and underline all the directives, to please someone who would kill us happily if given the chance? This to me people, is stupid. Because in doing this we are trying to make good to a culture that in it’s charter, wants us out of the way. If we don’t join them, then we are nothing but infidels and the only good infidel to them is a dead one. In other words, there is no pleasing this group of people. So why are we bending over backwards to do what they want us to do? It doesn’t make any sense, and it is doing nothing but hurting this great nation. And this has to stop.
This idea of bowing down to everyone, including our enemies is insane and destructive. If it was up to me, Osama bin Laden’s body would have been placed in a public place with pork all over it. Show them that we mean business when it comes to protecting our interests. Show them that they are not the only show in the theater.
May God bless our efforts to help get America back, and put God back into our country.
God, Bless America. Bless Americans. And Bless us to start using more common sense.
