You touch my junk……..

This is freaking great. You hear about what happened to this guy in San Diego? He kept with him, the presence of mind to turn on his cell phone, and at least get the audio of what happened at Lindbergh Field, San Diego International airport. This is a portion of an exchange between the passenger, John Tyner and an unidentified TSA screener about a security pat-down before boarding the airplane.

TSA MAN: We’re gonna be doing a groin check. That means I’m gonna place my hand on your hip, the other hand on your inner thigh, slowly go up and slide down.

TYNER: Okay.

TSA MAN: I’m gonna do that two times in the front and two times in the back.

TYNER: All right.

TSA MAN: And if you’d like a private screening, we can make that available for you also.

TYNER: We could do that out here, but if you touch my junk, I’m gonna have you arrested.

Now this has to be the most perfect line ever in the news. You touch my junk…..I truly love it. But it didn’t stop there. This from the San Diego News today:

"If you touch my junk, I will have you arrested."

The Transportation Security Administration has opened an investigation targeting John Tyner, 31, the Oceanside man who was ejected from the San Diego International Airport on Saturday morning after refusing to undertake a full body scan and, subsequently, a pat-down body search.
Tyner recorded the half-hour long encounter on his cell phone and later posted it to his personal blog, along with an extensive account of the incident. That blog and a subsequent story on signonsandiego.com posted Saturday night and gone viral, attracting hundreds of thousands of readers, and thousands of comments.

From there, they called the cops and more agents were brought in, because he became the aggressor. You touch my junk and I’m gonna have you arrested. And here came the authorities. The authorities were on this guy faster than they’ll ever be on any illegal immigrant, as Rush Limbaugh said. And that is so right. If this man was an illegal immigrant, they would have dropped it right there, and left him alone. But he wasn’t, and they didn’t.

Even Janet Napolitano, defended the pat-downs today at the Department of Homeland Security. She was asked the question, “Where do you draw the line given the concern of the travelers about the invasive nature of the procedure?”

“There is a process. You can go through an AIT, if there is a ping this tells an officer where they need to search, where something does not pass through the screens that are set. If you refuse the AIT machine altogether, then you can go to a separate area for a same gender pat-down which is conducted as a law enforcement pat-down should be in a very professional way, again, same gender, and if there are adjustments we need to make to these procedures as we move forward, we have an open ear.

The problem is, we are doing it the wrong way here folks. You cannot treat everyone the same. You cannot do the same thing for everyone and expect to catch the bad guys doing that. Because the bad guys show certain things. If you use common sense when it comes to this kind of thing, you would be able to do it just find. But it is just like Rush said….what if we want, instead of a same sex pat down…..how about an opposite sex pat down? As I heard on Rush today……

RUSH: I wonder if we can request opposite gender pat-downs at San Diego international airport, Lindbergh Field? Try that, folks, request opposite gender pat-downs. El Al doesn’t do this kind of thing and they got a pretty good track record of safety. They’re allowed to profile. Oh, yeah, and where’s the ACLU on this? I mean unless there’s a Muslim being patted down, they don’t seem to care about the Fourth Amendment or anything else. And let me ask, you leftists out there, remember how panicked you all got over the Patriotic Act, George W. Bush? Ask yourself, is what you’re hearing about at airport check-in, is this worse than the Patriot Act? Is it worse than checking your library books that you’ve checked out? I mean, here are these great civil libertarians, the Democrat Party led by the great Obama. If this happened to Pelosi, you would see a change (snapping fingers) like that. Guaranteed.

Now isn’t that the truth. He hits them with a truth that they stick to almost constantly. Personal space is not to be infringed upon…..but today it was this man telling them not to touch his junk, and they were the ones who were doing everything they could to take that right away from him.

This is still America isn’t it? All of this crap about taking people’s rights away makes me think that it is more on the lines of Iraq or Nazi Germany in the 1940’s. We are heading that direction you know…..with all this political correctness and crap. And this has to stop. The tea party is something that I feel understands this too. Which is why I think that we scare the liberals so very much. And don’t tell me we don’t. If we didn’t scare you libs, you wouldn’t be so funny with everything that you are doing now. Keep it up because it is giving, not only laughs but more and more votes. We are not about to stop you. Keep doing the things your doing now. It will only serve to help us take the next step to getting this country back on the Constitutional track in 2012.

I hadn’t heard about this, Robert. Glad you posted on it. And Rush is so right; if John Tyner were an illegal alien the authorities would’ve dropped the issue like a hot potato. But because John Tyner is an American citizen, and a white male at that, the authorities were on him like white on rice.
This whole pat-down policy is problematic. I don’t want anybody patting me down without probable cause, I don’t care what gender they are. We need to drop the pat-downs and do the profiling. If doing that has made El Al the safest airline in the world shouldn’t we be taking notes? Dump the pat-downs and profile, baby, profile!
reply from Robert: Profile, baby, profile! I love the idea. It is like I said before, and I will say it again more than once. Political Correctness is destroying this nation. Liberal whiny bleeding hearts are destroying this country. We need to start doing what we need to do to keep this country safe. If it means profiling and using Common Sense…then so be it.

Yes, this is very problematic. The biggest problem I have with it, other than the fondling, is that liberals are not outraged.
Where is the ACLU? Where are all the people complaining about the govenment taking our liberties like they were about The Patriot Act?
Liberal blogs are now attempting to divert out attention buy writing about who is making money off the scanners, the Koch bros. funded campaign against the TSA, and (my favorite) it is all because we have a black president.
Don’t touch my junk indeed, the policies of our government are junk I wouldn’t touch.
reply from Robert: Well put my friend. This whole administration’s policies are problematic at best, but there is another thing that is really problematic. That there are close to 40% of Americans who still support this man. To me, to have this kind of destruction being done to our country, and still have 40% support? That is a problem in itself.
