It’s 9/11. Nine years later…..Is America Islamophobic?

This one caught my attention. Mainly, because when it comes to the Average American, I do not believe that we are Islamophobic. So, this then brings me to my subject of the day.

The Pastor of that little church in Florida that was going to be holding a Koran burning on September 11th. This is a story, that in the past, when journalists were actually journalists, and our government was not looking for a reason to get the people’s minds off of how bad a political party or the president is doing, would have passed totally unnoticed by the U.S. and the world. But, the trouble is, we do not have real journalists anymore. We have what is known as agenda searchers. People, posing as journalists, but only going after stories that can be spun to help the agenda of the people they follow. Right now, the one they follow, President Obama, is the one that needs help.

New governmental data, out yesterday shows that Obama has spent more, in 19 months, than every president from Washington to Reagan inclusive. And Obama is still blaming Bush for everything. Bush spent a trillion in one year, but Obama is doing that almost monthly. The media was all over Bush for spending too much…..which he was….but where are they today?

I can’t get over how our media seems Ameriphobic when it comes to our Constitution, our culture and our freedoms. But mainstream America is no more Islamophobic than the Islam nations are Ameriphobic. I actually think the Islam nations ARE Ameriphobic.

Yesterday, thankfully, the Pastor in Florida backed down, from the burning of the Korans, and now he is maybe reconsidering. This is his moment in the spotlight.

Now, don’t get me wrong here. He has the right to do that, and if our reporters and journalists had been out looking for a real story instead of an agenda to help they’re president’s flagging poll numbers, the little pastor and his little church, and his Koran burning would have never hit the news. It would have happened and no one would have been any wiser of it. It would have been like all the Bible burnings that have happened because someone didn’t believe in it. But this time, the media was looking, along with Obama, for a way to take the attention off of his programs that the people have been saying “NO” to.

One jihadist site vowed to conduct suicide bombings in Florida to avenge a threatened Koran burning, while others predicted an increase in terrorist recruits as a result of such actions.

Scanning the Islamic sites today, you see all kinds of comments from the Muslims and Islamics saying things like:

“By Allah, the wars are heated and you Americans are the ones who…enflamed it,” says one such posting. “By Allah you will be the first to taste its flames.”

Taken from Comically Incorrect with permission from A.F. Branco.

And this from the supposed “religion of peace”???? I don’t think so. Every religion has it’s kooks, but it seems that Islam has more kooks and radicals in it’s ranks than any other religion. And those ranks are growing massively annually. Now I have to say this again.

The imam, who wants this victory mosque built there, and make no mistake, that is what this would be, said that he would not have considered this site if he knew it would cause this kind of trouble. People, for crying out loud, he knew what he was doing! HE KNEW WHAT WOULD HAPPEN!!

Americans lost 3,000+ of their fellow citizens on 9/11/2001, just 9 short years ago, and the pain of that loss is still there. And building a Mosque there, when it isn’t needed is like rubbing salt in a wound. A wound that hasn’t healed yet. Constitutionally, they have the right to build it there, but, it isn’t morally right to do so. They keep talking about how we are doing the wrong things here by having a pastor of a little bitty church in Florida burn Korans, and yet, they demand the destruction of Bibles in they’re land and that we build a Mosque where so many Americans lost their lives because Islamic jihadists attacked America there .

This isn’t their land, it’s ours, and just like they have the right to build the mosque on Ground Zero, this pastor in Florida has the same right to burn the Koran, whether or not it’s right to do so. I am tired of one side always having to have their way while making the other side abide by rules that shouldn’t pertain to them.

Today is September 11, 2010. Only nine years after the horrendous attack on this country that brought down the World Trade Center buildings and destroyed other buildings too. One of which, was a Greek Orthodox Church that has been refused the right to rebuild. Where is it, written, it is right to build a Mosque there, when the majority of the people do not want it? After all, is the Muslim population so huge in New York now that they need more mosques in the city? There are already over 100. Personally, I don’t think so.

“New York City has more than 100 mosques, compared with 10 in 1970, and more than 800,000 of its 8.21 million residents are Muslims (not all of whom go to church I am sure), said Philip Banks III,” chief of the NYPD Community Affairs Bureau. So if they need this mosque, shouldn’t the other people of New York, the Christians, get the same right to rebuild their church there, or the Jews, or another church? Maybe one with inter-denominational qualities?

Here are some numbers on the Muslim Community in New York City, taken between 1998 and 1999: 28 mosques in Queens, 27 in Brooklyn, 20 in the Bronx, 17 in Manhattan and 8 in Staten Island; however, all participants said they thought they had underestimated the number of mosques, because worshippers often set up small mosques in their apartments that are not visible from the street.

This is supposed to be the religion of peace. So why are they so sure they want to build a Mosque where the people do not want it and for very good reason? I will tell you. The Koran tells them when they destroy something of the enemy, they are to build a Mosque in it’s place so that Victory can be assured. That is a paraphrase, but essentially that is what it says. So, from the words of the Koran, this would be NOTHING MORE, than a Victory Mosque. And as an American, I do not want our enemy to have that kind of victory, at least not on that site. It would be morally wrong to do so. This imam should see that. After all, he is supposedly a man of God or Allah. That in itself should supersede every other consideration here. Especially ones of a Political or Jihadist nature. Don’t you think?

We have to be careful here my friends. Because even though America is strong, she has NO COMMITTMENT from the powers-that-be. Any war that lasts more than a few months is going to be perceived as unpopular in the media, and our government will work diligently to get us out of it. We cannot win a war against the Islamic Terrorists because, their lives are to destroy the infidels, (or us), and ours is to live our lives. We cannot be bothered anymore with such things as winning wars because our government will not allow it. I say, leave it to the people, and the war would be over quickly, because the people, in the personages of our soldiers, would win it. They would be given the means to win it. But the government will not allow that to happen. At least not the one we have in Washington now.

If I had told you nine years ago, that today we would have a coward government that would coddle to the Islamists, you would have told me I was insane….but that is what we have. Obama, Bloomberg and the rest who think that building this Mosque is the right thing to do, are evidence of this way of thinking. It’s called APPEASEMENT.

God Bless America, her troops, her allies and her people

Your comments are SO dead on right! I have been reading the Quran for over 2 years now, on and off, and I have a copy of what was originally by Mohammad, which was different than what is currently in play and written 400 years after his death. His books WERE of peace and love, and he considered Jesus a Prophet of God, not His Son. He had great respect for Mary and Jesus, and he did not demand the lives of “the infidels”, but he did require the Islamic nation to try to convert all to his “God”, but not unto death as the current edition of the Quran reads.

This Mosque is just that a “Victory Mosque” being built on “conquered” grounds to their eyes. And while they destroyed an area, they did not conquer it!
reply from Robert: Thank you. I have read some of the Quran, or Koran as I wrote it as…..there seems to be the different spellings of it. I had heard that about the original book by Mohammad. Too bad the Quran didn’t stay that way.

Great post, Robert! Spot on! I love the term “Ameriphobic”. That’s exactly what most of the Muslim world is but instead of lecturing them on it the tolerance crowd actually believes that Muslims have valid reasons to hate America and seek to placate them by apologizing for America’s flaws while failing to ask Muslims to reciprocate. Consequently, Muslims have little motivation to engage in self-reflection or to seek goodwill. If they wanted to cultivate goodwill Muslims would’ve dialogued with opponents of the Ground Zero mosque instead of flinging mean-spirited accusations of bigotry against them. Muslims’ reaction to criticism just heightens Americans’ suspicions of them and their faith. Ditto for the radicals who’re threatening suicide bombings in retaliation for a planned Koran burning. The radicals want to KILL PEOPLE in response to the destruction of a book. That’ll really convince Americans that Islam is a religion of peace. And they wonder why we don’t trust them.
reply from Robert: We can always hope that the radicals do things that will make Americans know just what side of the fence they sit on, but for the liberals, don’t count on it. Thanks for the great comment. On my next post using a new term there too…Obamacide.
