It’s Labor Day again…..

Labor Day weekend. The symbolic end of summer weekend. But what does it really stand for? Is it to the Liberals, like America, and doesn’t stand for anything anymore? Our traditions and history are quickly being deposited at the dung heap of liberal mentality, and there being changed to something else. This, my friends has to stop or America is no more. She is quickly being run down the railroad that has an end, at breakneck speed.

The Different dreams driving America in two different directions. Used with permission by A.F. Branco.

The reason this country is in such trouble, is because “Beck’s Dream” or the one that represents the majority of the people in the United States gets little to no air play in the media but has hundreds’ of thousands of people attending like at Glenn Beck’s 8/28 rally. Then we see the other side of the coin, like in the cartoon to the left by A.F. Branco, used with permission by him taken from his Comically Incorrect site. Rally’s like Sharpton’s, who get all the media attention, but only have a little more than 500 who attend.

To the average person, who comes home from work at the end of the day, and then sits down to relax in front of the television, the mainstream media is what they are assaulted with. So, they don’t see the things that are really going on in this nation. Only what the liberal spin wants them to see. That vision, isn’t the one that was in Reagan’s dream of a shining city on a hill beckoning to all the world, to the freedoms and beauty in this great country. Oh no. It is another vision. The vision that America is at fault for everything bad that is happening in this world. America is to be blamed for Al Qaeda even existing. America is to blame for them wanting to kill everyone who doesn’t believe in the same things they do. America is to blame for the Japanese who bombed Pearl Harbor in World War II. At least today.

Remember a few weeks ago when Obama apologized to japan for us dropping the “BOMB” on them to end the war? I mean, weren’t they the ones that started this whole thing? According to the liberals, no they weren’t. We were, for being America.

Anymore, Americans, being Americans, and proud of they’re country is something that is almost an act of being traitorous to America and what she stands for, in the eyes of the liberals.

Unless they are called on it. Then they get indignant and mad that they are believed to be the bad guys. You confront any of them and they will always use the same argument. The same one that Barney Frank used on the O’Reilly Factor the other night when he was interviewed by Bill O’ Reilly. He kept saying, ‘you have to let me talk and explain the complexity of this problem.’ Oh really? Complexity? I would say that 90% of the average grassroots people in this country could fix the mess that you liberals and the politicians in general have caused in this nation. We know what to do. YOU DON’T apparently!!! Because under your leadership, things have gotten “Progressively” worse, while you lie to us and tell us things are so much better. We are, after all in the “Summer of Recovery” as Obama put it. Well, we are actually mostly through with summer, and fall is just a few weeks away, and things are still steadily getting worse. But, I digress…..

This weekend is the Labor day weekend. Labor day is the last holiday of the summer season. Everyone who can gets out and enjoys the weekend as much as they can because labor day means more than just being off work and out of school. According to the Hub Pages Website, they put it this way:

Labor Day is a celebration of worker’s rights and the triumphs that the labor movement has gained over the last couple of centuries. Many people think of Labor Day as just another holiday where they get off of work or out of school, and don’t take the time to look at and appreciate what the holiday is really about.

First Labor Day Parade in NYC on September 5, 1882. 100 Years ago today.

In the United States Labor Day takes place on the first Monday of September. For many this day marks the end of summer and the beginning of the school year. But Labor Day is not just the end of summer, it is a celebration workers of all sorts.

Labor Day is sometimes confused with the holiday known as ‘May Day’, which is another labor union related holiday that has it’s roots in the Socialist Party. These are two separate holidays basically celebrating the same thing. Labor Day was selected as a separate holiday though to disassociate it from the communistic May Day in the late 1800’s.

The Origin of Labor Day

The first Labor Day was organized by Peter J McGuire in 1882. McGuire was a carpenter and one of the leaders of the American union movement.

Over 10,000 workers marched from New York’s City Hall to Union Square. After the parade they enjoyed a picnic, concert, and speeches at Reservoir Park with their families.

In many cities across America, Labor Day continues to celebrated in the very same fashion.

Different countries around the world also celebrate the holiday along with the United States.

All in all my friends, I hope that you have the best Labor Day weekend ever, and that it is a safe and happy one for you all. God Bless you and I guess I will see you all back at work with me on Tuesday. Happy Labor day to you all.

God Bless America, her troops, her allies and her people
God Bless my readers, my listeners on BTR and my viewers on You Tube…..
