Obama’s New voter is block on it’s Way….

“Unemployment benefits is one of the biggest stimulus we have to the economy.”
-Nancy Pelosi-

We have a new phenomina here in the United States now, but, it has been a growing concern, though ignored for decades. It has been said, that when 50% of the people are on the government payroll, our government will cease to exist, and so will America. And my friends, we are coming close to surpassing that percentage! Since the “new deal” came along, we have had a government that has been working to do exactly that, under the guise of helping the poor.

For years the liberals have been silent about what they were doing, but today, the problem is different. Today, they are working out in the open to get that. And the media is noticing finally. Taken from USA TODAY on 07/22/10, was this article:

Welfare agencies boost voters.

by Richard Wolf, USA TODAY

The recession that impoverished millions of Americans is producing a side effect: new voters.

Lawsuits by voting rights groups in Missouri and Ohio have led hundreds of thousands of people to file voter registration applications at welfare agencies, as mandated by the 1993 National Voter Registration Act, or the “motor voter” law. Cases pending in Indiana, New Mexico and other states, as well as new Justice Department guidelines, probably will boost those figures.

MOTOR VOTER LAW: Likely to be bigger priority for states

TOSSUP HOUSE RACES: Dems show cash advantage.

ELECTION 2010: GOP Hispanic candidates go against trend.

Voting rights advocates say millions of low-income people could be registered this way. A U.S. Election Assistance Commission report in 2007-08 showed 21 states registered less than 1% of voters at welfare offices. Only Vermont, Tennessee and New York registered more than 4% that way.

An increase could help President Obama and his party. A USA TODAY/Gallup Poll in June showed 55% of Americans with incomes less than $20,000 like Obama’s performance, tied for his best showing among income groups.

Those numbers could influence elections. Nearly 90% of registered voters cast ballots in 2008, according to the Census Bureau. Republican John McCain won Missouri by 4,000 votes in 2008.

The Census Bureau says 71% of eligible Americans were registered to vote in 2008, but only 64% of those with family incomes less than $20,000 did so. “When you’re on food stamps, your primary concern is where your next meal is going to come from,” says Nicole Kovite of Project Vote, one of the litigants.

The 1993 law requires most states to offer voter registration at motor vehicles offices, social services agencies and other sites. More than 2.6 million people filled out voter registration applications at public aid offices in 1995-96, or 6.3% of all applicants. The number dropped below 1 million by 2007-08.

Now I never thought that I would live in an America, where the people would actually vote in a group of people, who did not like this country. But if you look at the trend since Wilson was president, the trend has been increasingly that way. I mean, we have reprieves of this like when Reagan took office, and when Bush took office…but after they leave, liberalism goes crazy and gets voted more and more in. This time they got total power…..though, they’re ideas were still not easily passed. If we do not change the trend that this country is heading, next time the democrats, the liberal ones take office and get full control, we may see a different outcome. And that should scare the living crap out of any red blooded freedom loving American. I know it does me. Giving Socialism and Communism another chance to take over America is not my idea of a good thing. We have to let the media know they are wrong. We have to let the government know they are not doing what is right for America. We have to start electing Constitutional Conservatives who want to follow what the founding fathers had in mind for this country, not what Karl Marx would have wanted. Because Obama would have made Marx proud.

God Bless America, her troops, her allies and her people….

About Robert P. Garding

I am a Reagan Conservative, who is very alarmed at the Liberals who have just lost their majority over our government, but continue to act like it never happened. They have to be stopped. NOW or even sooner.

You start off with possibly the most absurd quote of the year by Pelosi. First of all the money is usually spent on keeping the AC and lights on in the summer. The next thing that should outrage every American taxpayer is the fact Pelosi is using your money to say unemployment benefits are now doing what the stimulus package was supposed to do. If these people could figure out a legal way to tie receiving benefits to voting Democrat in November they would. Now they can only say Republicans want to cut them off, a very tired and old tactic. Democrats will be preying on the unemployed, the poor and the Hispanic vote this fall by using the race card, immigration and Bush as a basis to attack the right. Obama is already trying to counter Republicans on the economy as returning to the Bush era of the past. Their record is dismal, the economy is tanking and their poll numbers are heading south. The only hope they have is to attack the right on unfounded and baseless arguments.
The one hope we have is that those receiving all the entitlements still have to drag their butt off the couch and go to the polls and as the past has indicated in mid-terms they don’t.
reply from Robert: I meant Pelosi’s quote to show the absurdity of the left’s position for the United States. We cannot afford to fall asleep before the next two elections come and go. Then the fight will be to keep us awake so we can keep the representatives we elect, on the straight and narrow. Thanks for the great comment my friend. I only hope that America will stay awake to the dangers she faces from her own government now.

Your post was right on target. I did not intend to clarify your meaning. Perhaps I should have worded my reply differently. That quote still has me bent out of shape.
Keep up the good work and lets bring down the Obama Nation.

Reply from Robert: Actually, I loved your comment as it added to what I had said, and accentuated the fact that what Pelosi said was absurd. I took it exactly the way you said here. Thanks again. Having y meanings clarified sometimes is a great thing cause other’s words can get across what my words can’t. Thanks again.

  3. Good.
reply from Robert: Good? I guess your one of those who think the United States should give all her land to someone else and cease to exist. or did I get you wrong on your comment?
