My heroes have always been the American Soldier, and my dad…..

American Soldiers in Iraq, and my dad in the corner.

I have always had my heroes. My dad being one, because he taught me the right way to look at things, and how to always love your country, and he always said, that even in the worst of times, this nation is the best in the world. That is something that I hear from Conservatives all over, but it is also something that I never hear from the liberals.

I remember listening to Reagan talking of America, and it was always in glowing terms. He loved America, just like my father did, and the soldiers do. My dad fought in the Philippines in World War II. And it was interesting that he never spoke of the things that he had to do there, or what was done to them. They of that generation were what I have always considered the greatest generation. They went to war in two theatres, and won both without question, and then came home the heroes as they should have been.

Then, I remember Vietnam, mainly because it was the war that I could have gone to fight in. I didn’t get to go because of the medication that I was taking at the time, and they wouldn’t let me go. But the soldiers that went fought with honor and glory, though, the press at home and the government were saying that they were nothing but baby killers and stuff like that. When these brave men came home, they came home to apathy and indignant hatred for them, so the Vietnam vet never got the praise that was due them. Made me sad and ashamed to be a part of that cowardly generation that would treat the homeward bound soldiers that way. I on the other hand was proud of them and let my friends know it.

The war that we find our brave fighting men and women in now, has been denigrated by the president. Taken into the realm of lies by our Representatives like Jack Murtha, who said that they were “murdering and raping in the middle of the night” and when confronted with what he said, would not apologize. I was in high hopes of this ex patriot (and yes I said and mean ‘EX’) would get beat and lose his office. But he didn’t. Made me wonder about the intelligence of the people in Pennsylvania…but I think it was on the lines of election fraud myself. No one could be that callous towards our troops, unless they were liberals. And it seems that the liberals make their joy in life destroying what we all hold dear. Our nation. Our freedoms, our military, our form of Government. So, why do we keep them around? We have a country to save here.

God Bless America, and our Troops
God Bless my readers, my listeners on BTR and my viewers on You Tube…..

About Robert P. Garding

I am a Reagan Conservative, who is very alarmed at the Liberals who have just lost their majority over our government, but continue to act like it never happened. They have to be stopped. NOW or even sooner.

Liberals really do find life’s meaning in “…destroying what we all hold dear.” It reminds me of what Lt. Col. Ralph Peters (Ret.) said on “The O’Reilly Factor” last year. He said liberals couldn’t let go of their vision of America as the Evil Empire because it would mean “jettisoning their whole lives.” That’s scary as well as sad. Why DO we keep liberals around? Sigh.
reply from Robert: The question shouldn’t be Why DO we keep liberals around, but instead it should be Why can’t we get our message out without caving in to what the liberals say, when we know deep down that they are wrong, and we are right?

That is a good question, Robert. We conservative, patriotic, mainstream Americans do cave almost every time the Left pushes us just a little bit hard. We seem to live in abject terror of certain words–racist, intolerant, bigot, etc–and will do ANYTHING, including betraying our principles, to avoid being stuck with an odious label. Almost makes me as disgusted with conservatives as with the libtards. Sigh, again.
reply from Robert: Not sure if it is abject terror of what they say….but instead an insane desire to be liked and a lot of us Conservative, patriotic, mainstream Americans just want to be liked, so we cave thinking that will do it…..but that has backfired on us so many times in the past, that we should know better.
