He’s acting like an addict……

What Obama is acting like with his ObamaCare plan

What Obama is acting like with his ObamaCare plan

I have been noticing something about Obama since day one, that was so familiar, but I couldn’t seem to place it. That is until today, when it finally hit me. He is acting like a drug addict.

Now I hear the questions and the accusations. Are you an addict? Do you take drugs? How would you know?

My second wife, who I was married to for 11 years, until she died, was a drug addict. Her pet drug was Percocet. Yes my friends, this was before Oxycotin.

Watching Obama, and his desire to get his Obamacare passed, and NOW, before anyone has a chance to sit down and totally read the thing, is nothing more than him acting like a druggie, looking for his next fix. And the fix, is nothing more than the passing of his Obama Health Care fiasco that will destroy the financial fabric of this nation. He wants this so bad, that he seems to be getting as desperate as a drug addict trying to find where his next fix is coming from.

I went through eleven years of this with my last wife before she died. Every time she would get her meds for the week, she was fine, until she hit the halfway point. You know, when the bottle was half full? To her, the bottle was half empty and it was time to start figuring out where the next refill was coming from. That was when the desperation started. She would run around everywhere she could that would maybe get her that refill, piling up bills all the way, putting us totally in debt so we couldn’t pay things off, until she found a doctor that would give her what she wanted. Then, after getting the prescription filled, (usually the prescription was only for one refill) she would be happy until the bottle was again half empty. Then the process started all over again.

When she died in 1998, I was in debt to doctors offices and hospitals to the tune of about a 1/4 of a million dollars!

A bitter pill to swallow

A bitter pill to swallow

The pills should have been made of gold for that amount of money! To me, a common everyday person who doesn’t make that much money, that is about the equivilent of Obama doing the same thing to us trying to get his fix, and putting us all in debt to the tune of several trillion. And, like my wife, that isn’t enough. He is now trying to push the Healthcare Reform bill which will put us into more debt to the tune of close to another trillion dollars.

My friends, mark my words here. He is acting just like my last wife while she was still alive. Everything that he is doing has to be done right now or bad things will happen, when in all actuality, we could take the time and read the whole bill, figure out what is wrong with it, and what is right with it, change it so it is right, and then pass it later on.

But Obama, and Pelosi and Reid and Schumer and the rest of the bozo’s in Washington DC’s club of morons, continue to say that everything they are doing has to be done right now or dire consequences will happen to all of us. And that is where the problem lies. What they are trying to force on the people is pure bull. We need to find someone to replace the addicts that we have in Washington with people that will do the right things for America and not waver from the right things when the lobbys come to give money for their concerns.

People have been populating Townhall meetings all over the nation with questions and anger, about why the Healthcare bill is so wrong, all while holding copies of it and reading from it, while our supposed representatives tell the people to “Go Home!” and “You don’t know what your talking about.” Telling the American people, that they are acting “unAmerican” and acting like “unruly mobs”, and telling us that ‘What has been happening at the townhall meetings isn’t indicative of what America wants.’ What? Do you people in Washington even have a clue? I seriously doubt it. Maybe you are morons like I said moments ago!

Yesterday, a Professor from Duke University, John David Lewis, explained exactly what the health care bill actually says:

*“What the Health Care Bill Actually Says,” and it was put together by John David Lewis. It is from the website Classical Ideals. John David Lewis is a professor of classics at Duke University, and here is how he introduces his analysis: “What does the bill, HR 3200, short-titled ‘America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009,’ actually say about major health care issues? I here pose a few questions in no particular order, citing relevant passages and offering a brief evaluation after each set of passages.

“This bill is 1017 pages long. It is knee-deep in legalese and references to other federal regulations and laws. I have only touched pieces of the bill here. For instance, I have not considered the establishment of (1) ‘Health Choices Commissioner’ (Section 141); (2) a ‘Health Insurance Exchange,’ (Section 201), basically a government run insurance scheme to coordinate all insurance activity; (3) a Public Health Insurance Option (Section 221); and similar provisions. This is the evaluation of someone who is neither a physician nor a legal professional. I am citizen, concerned about this bill’s effects on my freedom as an American. I would rather have used my time in other ways — but this is too important to ignore. We may answer one question up front: How will the government … pay for all this?

“Higher taxes, more borrowing, printing money, cutting payments, or rationing services — there are no other options. We will all pay for this, enrolled in the government ‘option’ or not.” So, when we talk about how we’re going to pay for it, “How will the government … pay for all this?” it’s all of the following: “Higher taxes, more borrowing, printing money, cutting payments, or rationing services — there are no other options” to pay for it. “We will all pay for this, enrolled in the government ‘option’ or not.” The first question that he wanted to discover here is: “Will the plan ration medical care?” Then he cites the relevant passages from the bill and then evaluates the passages in real language, not the legalese that he found. This section, rationing medical care:

1. This section amends the Social Security Act. 2. The government has the power to determine what constitutes an ‘applicable [medical] condition.’ 3. The government has the power to determine who is allowed readmission into a hospital. 4. This determination will be made by statistics: when enough people have been discharged for the same condition, an individual may be readmitted.” In other words, there’s nothing personal about this. That’s why Obama’s answer to the woman with the 100-year-old mother, “Are you gonna take into account the spunk and spirit, the will to live?” was, “I don’t think we can do that.” It’s going to be statistic based. “5. This is government rationing, pure, simple, and straight up.”

2. Anyone caught without acceptable coverage and not in the government plan will pay a special tax.” Now, this we know. We’ve seen this ourselves. “3. The IRS will be a major enforcement mechanism for the plan,” as written in this bill. The IRS will be a major enforcer. The next section that he analyzed: “What constitutes ‘acceptable’ coverage?” Because, in the previous passage the bill said: “Anyone caught without acceptable coverage and not in the government plan will pay a special tax” So, what is “‘acceptable’ coverage”? Here are the relevant passages, sentences from the bill. “Evaluation of the passages. 1. The bill defines ‘acceptable coverage’ and leaves no room for choice in this regard. 2. By setting a minimum 70% actuarial value of benefits, the bill makes health plans in which individuals pay for routine services, but carry insurance only for catastrophic events, (such as Health Savings Accounts) illegal.”

“Pages 149-150, SEC. 313, EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTIONS IN LIEU OF COVERAGE,” and then the relevant passages from the bill. Here is the evaluation of those passages. Again, what we’re talking about here is: “Will the PLAN destroy private health insurance?” “1. The bill does not prohibit a person from buying private insurance. 2. Small businesses — with say 8-10 employees — will either have to provide insurance to federal standards, or pay an 8% payroll tax. Business costs for health care are higher than this, especially considering administrative costs. Any competitive business that tries to stay with a private plan will face a payroll disadvantage against competitors who go with the government ‘option.'” Now, let me explain this. Small businesses, say eight-to-ten employees, will either have to provide insurance up “to federal standards.” If they don’t, they will pay an additional 8% payroll tax.

“Business costs for health care are higher than [what will be charged], especially considering administrative costs. Any competitive business that tries to stay with a private plan will face a payroll disadvantage against competitors who go with the government ‘option.'” If they go to the government option, they’re fine. If you don’t and you stay private, you’re going to pay a penalty. The penalty will make it ridiculous and stupid business-wise to stay with your private plan. Therefore, you will — your small business will — be forced out of private insurance onto the government option. “3. The pressure for business owners to terminate the private plans will be enormous,” the financial pressure, the business pressure. “4. With employers ending plans, millions of Americans will lose their private coverage, and fewer companies will offer it.”

There is much more my friends, but it would make this post huge and hard to read. It is easy to find what this professor said. Google him or, go to http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/ and go to Wednesday of this week. I am still afraid of the direction that our wanna be druggie of a president wants to force down our throats, and I will fight it all the way I can. You see, I still have a mother alive and a brother that is being treated for emphasema. I will not allow my government to tell me they are no longer productive to society and they will not be allowed meds to make them live longer, and if this bad boy is passed into law my friends…..it will happen. Mark my words. It will happen. Obama’s own words have said it. Forget what he is saying now because what he is saying now is a lie to make us believe he wants only the best for us. But he wants nothing good for us. He doesn’t care. The only thing Obama cares about is himself. Period. America’s future depends on us continuing our fight to save her. Hooray for the American people.

God Bless America and her troops and the people out there making it happen…..
God Bless my readers, my listeners on BTR and my viewers on You Tube….

About Robert P. Garding

I am a Reagan Conservative, who is very alarmed at the Liberals who have just lost their majority over our government, but continue to act like it never happened. They have to be stopped. NOW or even sooner.

One Response to He’s acting like an addict……

  1. Seane-Anna says:

Obama’s acting like an addict? That’s an angle I hadn’t thought of but I guess he kinda is. But I don’t think he’s addicted to getting health care reform passed. I think he’s addicted to blind adulation. He’s not getting that now and the Anointed One doesn’t know what to do so he’s panicking, just like an addict about to run out of his drug of choice. We’ve got an addict in the White House?! Well, I guess that’s change.

reply from Robert: You said it right…..and that is what I was trying to get at…..he isn’t addicted to getting health care passed…he is addicted to the adulation that he things he needs to receive because he is the president. Well, if he would stop lying…maybe he would get more of it….but, I think lying is bred into him.
