Telephone Townhall’s? You cowards! You liars! Obama too!

First it was resorting to calling all of us Mobsters and unruly Mobs, and things like that…..insulting the American people, then telling us that we were wrong in protesting that way. We should ‘call you and set up an appointment’ to talk to you and you would be happy to discuss the matter’, yet when we do call, we get a busy signal, or the Senator is busy right and can’t be disturbed, and when we write, we get back a form letter and nothing more. We have tried all those Senators and Congressmen, and that doesn’t get anything done, so we are protesting. It is part of our constitutional rights to do so. You remember the Constitution now don’t you? The founding document written by the Founding Fathers? You know them don’t you?

You people in Washington are the most arrogant and wrong people that I think I have ever seen, when things don’t go your way. I mean, it is like thousands of us are saying daily, you are only there to represent us, and serve us, yet, when we try to contact you, all we get is double talk and innuendo and insults.

Here are a few examples of your arrogance and stupidity if you don’t remember. This is an exchange between a Doctor, (Brian Hill) and Representative David Scott of Georgia:

SCOTT: I haven’t voted on any bill.

DR. HILL: Are you planning on voting on that bill?

SCOTT: I don’t know.

DR. HILL: That’s an easy-out response.

CROWD: (groans)

DR. HILL: Do you support a government-run option? How about that?

SCOTT: Yes, I do. And I’m listening to MY constituents, okay? These are people who live in the 13th Congressional District, who vote in this district. That’s who I’ve got to respond to, okay?

DR. HILL: That’s me.

SCOTT: (screaming) This is not a health care event! You’ve made the choice to come here! Not a single one of you had the decency to call my office and set up for a meeting, okay? Then do that. Do that! But don’t, don’t come and take advantage of what these individuals have done! You want a meeting with me on health care, I’ll give it to you!

I guess it’s really true. These people think that they are in charge and that we actually wish to listen to them yell at us and make us feel small. Representative Scott, and the rest of you. YOU are committing suicide here when it comes to your positions in the Senate and the House. You had better reconsider what your thinking and saying here, because you know as well as we do, that only a small percent of the people will ever get through with a phone call, after you have screened them of course.

And Obama is the worst of the bunch. He has lied, and fibbed to the American people over and over again, and he doesn’t even see what is going on. The people are rising up in protest you inexperienced man, because you keep saying one thing, then turning around later and saying you never said it, and that you really said this. The trouble is Mr. Obama, what you say is always recorded. We have proof of you going both ways on several subjects. For instance, how about these gems?

OBAMA TODAY: I have not said that I was a single-payer supporter because frankly we historically have had a employer-based system in this country, that private insurers.

OBAMA 2003: I happen to be a proponent of single-payer, universal health care plan.

AUDIENCE: (applause)

OBAMA 2003: I see no reason why the United States of America, the wealthiest country in the history of the world, is spending 14% — 14% of its gross national product on health care — cannot provide basic health insurance to everybody. And that’s what Jim’s talking about when he says, “Everybody in, nobody out,” a single payer health care plan, universal health care plan. That’s what I’d like to see…”

So there you have it. Today Obama says: “I have not said that I was a single-payer supporter…” and in 2003, he said that he was.

He has said that he was a proponent of single payer universal health care, and today he says he never said that. And so many of us just take him for his words, and never think to check his words…but his words are always contradicting what he says, and what he has said. All you have to do is look. And the same is true for most of the politicians in Washington DC. It is time for a wholesale change in the Capital. America needs saving, and it is up to us, the people to do it.

On to another note here, with what the American people have been doing at the Townhall meetings, I am so proud of you all. You have finally awakened, and you have the politicians coming home to their townhall meetings running scared. You should be commended. The democrats call you all *and me too* an unruly mob, and UnAmerican. But, you are being as American as anyone now, and you are not an unruly mob, you are making the politicians sit up and take notice. And I say God Bless you all and Good for you. I AM PROUD OF YOU ALL. Keep up the great work. These Democrats need to be brought back to reality, before this nation is destroyed because of their stupidity.

God Bless America and her troops and the protesting Americans
God Bless my readers, my listeners on BTR and my viewers on You Tube…..

About Robert P. Garding

I am a Reagan Conservative, who is very alarmed at the Liberals who have just lost their majority over our government, but continue to act like it never happened. They have to be stopped. NOW or even sooner.

Arrogant is the word, Robert! The NERVE of Rep. Scott of Georgia! Who does he think he is? Who do ALL of those clowns think they are? Whatever they THINK they are what they ACTUALLY are is our SERVANTS! We are THEIR bosses, NOT the other way around. Politicians like Scott, Pelosi, Reid, McCaskill, Spector, and all the rest are so entrenched in their Beltway bubble that they no longer understand what their job is. It’s to do the will of the people! What these clowns need is a dose of vitamin TL: term limits. If 8 years in office is long enough for the president it’s long enough for senators and congressmen, too. So I say, down with entrenchment! Down with arrogance! Up with term limits!

reply from Robert: I think term limits on all of them should be the rule. Even on Supreme Court Judges. I also think that a lifetime salary is not a good thing either. When you lose your job, or quit your job, you also lose your income for that job…..not the Senators, Congressmen and such. I think it should be the way it is for the president, but not the rest of them.

On the upside Robert, they are running scared. Oh, they try not to show it, but they have to be scared out of their wits. We are giving them hell. Their poll numbers are dropping like a rock. Dems are trying to avoid their constituents by canceling town hall meetings, or trying to keep scheduled town hall meetings very low key. Obama keeps spouting the same old tired rhetoric and expecting a different response.

If they are this scared of their constituents now, how scared will they be of them when it is time to run again.

reply from Robert: I know. This is getting fun. I remember when they won, and all we heard from them was “We won, you lost, so shut up.” Now they have screwed things up so badly that we don’t hear that anymore…..all we hear is insults and talk that we are being unAmerican by doing the American thing, protesting bad government. I love watching a party that is imploding, when they do not realize it is happening. My only hope is, that the Republicans and the People do not go back to sleep.
