Porkulous and E Pluribus Unum, and other news….

I, like Rush, can think of no other way to say this. People, we have to sober up here from the intoxicating effect of Obama and wake up to the fact that he is in the process of destroying the economy of this country.

It amazes me that no one out here can see what is going on. I mean think about this here. Since he has taken office, he has spent over 2 trillion dollars, and no one seems to think anything about this. First off my friends, can any of you imagine what a trillion dollars would look like? How much per hour you would have to make to make a trillion in your lifetime, with no time off to sleep or rest or vacation or spend it?

But the latest on what Obama is doing, is that he is now working on a new work bill. But now wait. We are all still waiting for your last work bill to work. So far, it hasn’t. As a matter of fact, unemployment figures just jumped up again, and all the “experts” on the subject, said that the current jump, was totaly unexpected.

This caught me by surprise because I had been expecting it. All through history, historians have said that you cannot spend your way out of a recession. That it has to follow it’s path, and naturally come out of it. Spending to bring a country out, will make the recession deeper and last longer. A good example of that was the great depression. If the government then had stayed out of it, the country would most likely have come out of the recession years before. But it seems that politicians do not learn their lessons from history. They just keep on going with the ideals that they want to push. Like Obama and his socialism.

Not to change the subject, but today has been a bad day for celebrities. This morning I heard on the news that Farrah Fawcett died, at the age of 62 of cancer, and just a few minutes ago, I heard the news of Michael Jackson’s death. From an AP story here are the details:

The death of an Icon.....

The death of an Icon.....

LOS ANGELES – Michael Jackson, the moonwalking former child star who became known the world over as the “King of Pop” before his life and career deteriorated in a freakish series of scandals, died Thursday, a person with knowledge of the situation told The Associated Press. He was 50. The person said Jackson died in a Los Angeles hospital. The person was not authorized to speak publicly and requested anonymity.

The circumstances of his death were not immediately clear. Jackson was not breathing when Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at his Los Angeles home about 12:30 p.m., Capt. Steve Ruda told the Los Angeles Times. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to UCLA Medical Center, Ruda told the newspaper.

Jackson’s death brought a tragic end to a long, bizarre, sometimes farcical decline from his peak in the 1980s, when he was popular music’s premier all-around performer, a uniter of black and white music who shattered the race barrier on MTV, dominated the charts and dazzled even more on stage.

He was perhaps the most exciting performer of his generation, known for his feverish, crotch-grabbing dance moves, his high-pitched voice punctuated with squeals and titters. His single sequined glove and tight, military-style jacket were trademarks second only to his ever-changing, surgically altered appearance. Over the years, his skin became lighter and his nose narrower.

May their souls rest in peace. And May God Bless America.

God Bless America and her troops
God Bless my readers, my listeners on BTR and my viewers on You Tube…..

  1. Linda says:

RIP to both Farrah and Michael.

BO, get off your ‘throne’ and become the President of the people, by the people and for the people. Quit spending money we don’t have!

reply from Robert: I wish that BO would get off of his throne too. He is acting just like a monarch, and we split from England to get away from that sort of thing.
