Our Second Amendment Rights are being Raped by the Senate again…….

Remember, in the Constitution, the second Amendment? If you don’t here it is: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. Am I missing something here my friends????

It seems to me, that the second Amendment is pretty danged clear, as to what it says. The Right of the people, to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed! For you who live in the Congress to make our lives miserable, with your constant making of new law that is unconstitutional, let me make this clear! You do this, and you will find out that you are on the wrong end of the gun, so to speak!

Our constitution, gives us all the right to bear arms, and that means to be able to buy them. Your latest stupidity on capital hill goes completely against the constitution, and it is about time that someone told you to stop and desist. You are going to have a full fledged rebellion on your hands if you do not stop taking apart the Constitution of this great nation. Here is what I am talking about…….from the GOPUSA, they have a thing by the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. It says:

Anti-Gun Senate to Ban Private Gun Sales

Senators Frank R. Lautenberg (D-NJ), Jack Reed (D-RI), and Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), have joined Paul Helmke, President of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence and victims and family members of the Virginia Tech tragedy, to introduce legislation to eliminate the private transfers of firearms and close the nation’s “gun show loophole.”

It goes on to say:

Lautenberg went on to add still more to the “90% Obama Mexican Gun Lie”:

“Thirty percent of the guns that go to Mexico are bought at gun shows.” Lautenberg and the Gun Grabbers in the Senate are also lying about the Virginia Tech gunman who had a background check at a legal gun store to justify themselves. There were abundant warning signs that he posed a serious threat to the campus. Yet he was running loose because the gun check system failed.

Independence Institute researcher David Kopel has written about the “gun show loophole,” concluding that it is a myth: Says Kopel:

“Despite what some media commentators have claimed, If a dealer sells a gun from a storefront, from a room in his home or from a table at a gun show, the rules are exactly the same: he can get authorization from the FBI for the sale only after the FBI runs it’s “instant” background check.”

The Bureau of Justice Statistics report entitled “Firearms Use by Offenders” found tht less than one percent – 0.7%, to be exact – of guns used in crimes originated at gun shows.

New York (D) Senators Charles Schumer and Kristen Gillibrand proposed computerized background checks be retained creating a de facto gun registration system and Lautenberg’s Bill proposes private transactions be added to this registration system.

Motives for eliminating gun shows are twofold:

First, gun shows are a powerful tool in defeating gun control legislation.
Second, eradicate the gun show and gun culture together.
All that seems to be on the minds of the Anti-Gun Coalition and get ready for the biggest gun control fight of the year from coast to coast. We cann not do that without your support.

Stand up against this attack! Stand up for the right to not only defend yourself, but to defend your family, your children, your friends, and your classmates!

Like all other threats against our freedoms, we must rise and defeat this bill, slap it down hard.

The legislation is cosponsored by Senators Dick Durbin (D-IL), Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), Charles Schumer (D-NY), John Kerry (D-MA), Ted Kennedy (D-MA), Carl Levin (D-MI), Ben Cardin (D-MD and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), and Robert Menendez (D-NJ).

In order to stop Schumer, Kerry and Kennedy and their fellow gun-grabbers, we need to let the Congress know with thousands of faxes telling them to leave guns alone.

Americans like you who understand what our Founding Fathers envisioned for our nation … and who are willing to fight to defend our Constitution and for what it stands for.

It goes on with more information, and gives a letter to fax to the senators. The Senators involved in this Rape of the Second Amendment reads like a rogues gallery. Here is that letter:

Senator [Name]
Washington, DC

RE: Oppose “Banning Guns” and Protect the Second Amendment!

Dear Senator [Name}:

I’m writing to ask you to please oppose ANY “anti gun bill” that includes ANY “gun ban” to repeal the Second Amendment to the Constitution. If you do, this is totally unconstitutional and wrong!

I the undersigned, as a citizen of the United States, do hereby demand that you vote “NO” on every unconstitutional bill to ban or confiscate the legally owned firearms of millions of law-abiding Americans.

The Founding Fathers knew exactly what they were doing when they wrote the Second Amendment — they were giving the people the right to defend themselves against all threats — including the threat of an oppressive government.

Americans will be highly skeptical of any diversionary talk of “waiting periods”, “background checks” or “gun-registration” and additional promises to enforce any new and deeply flawed approaches.

If history is an accurate guide, banning guns would only embolden criminals and encourage crime leaving American’s defenseless and allow the uncontrolled and unacceptable to happen, making family security even worse than it is now.

Such legislation is a bad idea because it creates armed criminals to prey upon law abiding citizens. Further, it would be impossible to administer and even more unlikely to be enforced. Gun control is about government controlling the people – NOT about making people safe.

That’s what’s at stake here. Our freedom. Our future.

The most important job you have to do right now is to protect U.S. citizens Second Amendment rights. Like millions of Americans, I’m sick and tired of the “inside the beltway” politics on this issue; I will listen to NO MORE weasel words or slick excuses.

This issue is BLACK OR WHITE – there are NO “shades of gray.” We need you to protect Americans and their Right to Bear Arms. Please, oppose ANY “gun bill” that includes ANY “gun ban” provisions. I will be watching your vote on this issue very closely. Thank you.

As of now, my friends, I have sent six letters (the one above) to Democrats David Akaka (D-HI), Max Baucus (D-MT), Evan Bayh (D-IN), Mark Begich (D-AK), Michael F. Bennet (D-CO), Jeff Bingaman (D-NM), Harry Reid (D-NV). Going to be sending them the rest of the night. On the U.S. Senators page you will find all their phone numbers and web page message forms so you can contact them too. This has to be done to keep America safe. Our Senators and Obama and Congressmen are Raping the Constitution, and it must be stopped. This is a good way to start that. Send your messages of dissent to our governmental officials who wish to tear this country down. I know I am.

God Bless America and her troops
God Bless my readers, my listeners and my viewers….

About Robert P. Garding

I am a Reagan Conservative, who is very alarmed at the Liberals who have just lost their majority over our government, but continue to act like it never happened. They have to be stopped. NOW or even sooner.

  1. joe says:

What about the well regulated part of the amendment?

reply from Robert: Don’t you think that we are being regulated well enough? A well regulated militia…….now that is something that is coming. If the government doesn’t mend it’s ways…I think that they will have to contend with a well regulated militia…..they just don’t know that it’s there.
