Ten Things you Need to Know about Barack Obama

Before I get to my post for today, I have an announcement, that I have bought my own domain, at http://www.wiseconservatism.com

This blog can be brought up, by either going to the regular address of https://elwoodin.wordpress.com, or to the new address listed above. My new domain should help to bring more traffic to this site, and help it to grow. So, now you can all get to my blog two ways. Through one of these two addresses:

Now, on with today’s post:

Again surfing around I found a nice little article on the things that Barack Hussein Obama, our democratic presidential candidate has in his little mind. Things that he believes in, and things he will institute as soon as he gets into the White House. (These are the main reasons why, we cannot afford to let him get there……)

These were found at http://www.rightchange.com, and they are scary to say the least. Barack Obama says that he will not change the tax rates of most Americans except to give them tax cuts that will include about 90% of the people. Here is what he really stands for:

In 2009, Barack Obama and the Democratic Congress have an idea for a bill. Well, really, it’s a lot of bills that will be paid for by nearly every American in the form of higher taxes and higher costs for food, energy and other products.

Under that plan:

1. Small main street businesses would be forced to pay tax rates as high as
62.3% under Senator Obama’s tax proposals.
2. Senator Obama’s tax plan would tax small businesses at a higher rate
than large Corporations.
3. Taxes on retirement income and savings could increase by at least 33%,
hitting millions of seniors when they need these resources the most.
4. 4 million workers over the age of 50 — those eagerly looking forward to
retirement — would be hit with increased tax bills.
5. Millions of Americans would only keep 38 cents of every dollar that they
6. Senator Obama’s tax plan would reduce the after tax wages of millions of
workers by 17.7%.
7. It will take 227 days per year, nearly 8 months, just to pay your tax bill. (Now, it takes months less)
8. 97,065 carpenters, 110,908 police officers, 254,992 nurses, 208,562
post secondary teachers and 237,000 dentists would see tax increases, if the earnings cap
was successfully eliminated.
9. 10.3 million workers would see an average of $5,650 taken from their
paycheck, and given to government programs.
10. Even YOU might be considered “Rich”.

Also found in that article, was this little ditty that said that Obama voted for the 2009 Democratic budget, which included tax increases for individuals earning as little as $31,850 a year for individuals, and $63,700 for married couples. Now folks, you think that the Republicans are going after tax cuts for the rich, but think on this, before you make some comment.

The rich, already pay the lions share of taxes, when they do not comprise the lions share of the population. They are only a small minority of it. Yet the poor, and the not so poor, but not rich, are in line for a humongous tax increase that could destroy our ability to take care of ourselves. And that is right where the Democrats want us. Right where they can control us from our purse strings. And if you think back on the decades before now, you will see a pattern of making dependants out of people who normally would work…but wouldn’t do good. That is where this country is going wrong. Making dependents of everyone they can. No wonder we have so many on the welfare rolls that we, as working Americans are required to pay for.

And my friends, this all is what Barack Hussein Obama stands for. What he wants to implement, if we elect him to the office of the President of the United States.

Now, what I am saying here, is that the lesser of two evils is John McCain. I right now am supporting him. Mainly because he stands for America. Obama does not. McCain stand for the people. Obama does not. If McCain starts heading in a direction we do not like, we can inundate him with emails and messages letting him know how we feel about it, and he will do what he can to get us what we want. Obama on the other hand, will be nothing more than a dictator, who will only institute his own ideas, and the Marxist ideals of his cabinet, to hell with what we the people think. That to me, is a horrible thing for the President to be like. But Obama will be that kind of President. Mark my words here people. If he is elected, we will see the roughest times that America has had in a long time, and, we will see an acceleration of the loss of our freedoms. He does not care for our freedoms, and he will not serve to protect them. You have been warned………AGAIN.

Barack Obama may not have any experience yet but he is just a smooth talker. That is all. But his statement when giving his speech do carry some weight over to his supporters. That is how the viewers sees him as he is. All in all who knows after the election things might change no matter who will be elected as a PM. Anyway even expert also makes mistake so no amount of problem solving skill will save it in the future.

Specific and varied sources always increase my confidence in posts. I did several hours of research including reading the report from the bi-partisan group the Tax Policy Center. The findings from all of those sources are in conflict with what you are posting. Please take a look and let me know what you think:

There are people on both sides of the spectrum that try to spin and send out misinformation. I think that a lot of people just listen for what they want to hear so they can echo it without taking the time/ effort to verify it.
