McCain suspends his campaign to help the Nation….

I heard today that the polls have Obama up by 6 points today, and also today, we had something happen that tells just where the candidates true feelings for this nations well being sits. And that is, the economy and the troubles we are starting to see multiply with each passing day. Mostly right now, the 700 billion dollars set for the bail out of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Now here is the problem. This amount that they are tossing around is a huge amount of money. And the representatives in Washington seem to not have any idea what amount of money that is. They just make a commitment to give this money to these companies, with few standing up and saying this is wrong. One of the few is Senator McCain. Today, he suspended his campaign to go back to Washington to work on this, so that we can get some news about what is going on, and to help the economy. Obama? He is right now riding the wave of a surge, that he doesn’t want to give up.

McCain said that he needed to stop his campaign, and postpone the debate so that he can get back to Washington to work on this and get it settled. Mrs Dole was on Fox News at about 4:15 pm today to say that she thought McCain was right in placing the American people first and the nation first. Senator Lieberman said the same thing too. Let’s look at it this way.

John McCain is on his way back to Washington to try to help take care of this problem that we have, and people it is a problem. The idea of bailing out a company, or companies that are in their situation because they were doing the wrong things, and giving loans out to people that they knew couldn’t afford the loans given… ridiculous. Sure if it isn’t done, there will be a bunch of people out of work…and a bunch of people maybe losing homes, but they are working for, and dealing with a company that has been known to do the wrong things with housing loans for years.

In 2003 President Bush spoke out against them and saying that something needed to be done. The democratic congress, lead at the time by Barney Frank said that there was nothing wrong with those companies and nothing needed to be done.

In 2006 John McCain told Congress that Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae were out of control and things needed to be done. He was told the same thing by the democrats in Congress.

Now things are getting bad, and McCain is the only one that seems to want to do anything about this. Obama, wants to continue the campaign because he is on a surge and doesn’t want it to stop.

To me, this says, that McCain has more concern for the economy of this nation, than Obama does. But right now…Obama is finally speaking…..and trying to make everyone think he is concerned. But he isn’t. His move is strictly political. Nothing more. McCain is the one that is concerned. To me that tells me that he is the one to run this country. NOT Obama.

Those NOBAMA bumper stickers are something that tells it just the way it is. We need to elect someone who is concerned for this nation….not someone who will do anything to get the office just because there is power in it. Obama is the latter in this one. We have to start listening to what he says first……rather than what he says after he gets his speech writers on it. Because the first thing that is said is what the man feels. God help us if he gets elected. Because we will need His help.

I am a Reagan Conservative, who is very alarmed at the Liberals who have just lost their majority over our government, but continue to act like it never happened. They have to be stopped. NOW or even sooner.

Praise the Lord for McCain, for he is certainly a man of action.

Deregulation action, that is. McCain’s campaign suspension is seen for what it is by over 85% of the country, it’s a cheap political stunt that’s toying with the dangerous situation we’re in.

    Wake up, Robby.

  2. Respect to McCain for his past, but that might be his downfall, too much past!

Cheap stunt. Nothing more than a photo op.

Exactly what I would expect from someone who doesn’t like Republicans doing what is right for America. The campaign was not as important as getting this mess fixed up. Though, I have to admit, he didn’t follow through like he should have.
