Okay, I am really getting disgusted with the politicians that we have in Washington. And yes you Liberals, I mean all of them. I talk a lot about the Democrats in office because they do things to keep themselves in the forefront of stupid things. But this is going too far now. I got this from Rush Limbaugh yesterday:
RUSH: I have to correct another thing. I was under the impression that Dingy Harry made his undocumented Americans remark yesterday. It was yesterday that I predicted the way the terminology and the language was going on this, that somebody would say “illegal Americans.” Somebody had told me last night he said it on the floor of the Senate yesterday, undocumented Americans. It turns out that it was on June the 4th, nine days ago, that Dingy Harry said it. I had not heard him say it, but here’s the sound bite. Dingy Harry has gone back and forth. This is long before he pulled the bill. This was when he was all for the immigration bill.
REID: This week, we’re going to complete that legislation. We will hopefully bring to final passage a comprehensive bill that will strengthen our border security and bring 12 million undocumented Americans out of the shadows. You see, even in defeat they are arrogant as hell!
RUSH: (Laughing) That’s from June 4th. I had not heard him say it. (Interruption) Well, twice I’ve been wrong in an hour. Brian, you little smart aleck in there, but you got a point. I have been wrong. But, see, you miss the point. My facts and fact presentation is not audited, it’s my opinions, that’s what counts. There are too many opportunities to make the factual mistakes with people like you telling me things that are wrong that I don’t check out and repeat and then I have to correct it and take the heat for it. So this will not affect my accuracy rating at all because these errors were not errors of opinion.
This immigration bill is NOT DEAD people. They (the politicians in Washington) do not want it to die. They are for it. No matter what you or I want. They want it. And no matter what the American people want, they will push their agenda on this till they succeed, or until we remove them from office. The other thing that could be done is what Oklahoma has done. And of course, the “drive by media” hasn’t reported on this, and because of this, you probably haven’t heard about it either. But, I will tell you with links so you can check for yourselves.
In Oklahoma, the state has passed a law that does what the Federal Government needs to. In other words:
Oklahoma no longer OK for illegal aliens
May 16, 2007
Oklahoma’s Governor Brad Henry has signed a sweeping immigration reform bill, House Bill 1804 was passed by overwhelming majorities in both the House and Senate of the Oklahoma Legislature. The measure’s sponsor, State Representative Randy Terrill, says the bill has four main topical areas: it deals with identity theft; it terminates public assistance benefits to illegals; it empowers state and local police to enforce federal immigration laws; and it punishes employers who knowingly hire illegal aliens.
Oklahoma is no longer “O.K.” for illegal aliens, Terrill obvserves. “When you put everything together in context,” he contends, “the bottom line is illegal aliens will not come here if there are no jobs waiting for them, they will not stay here if there is no government subsidy, and they certainly won’t stay here if they know that if they ever encounter our state and local law enforcement officers, they will be physically detained until they’re deported. And that’s exactly what House Bill 1804 does.”
The Oklahoma legislator is pleased the bill he sponsored into law was signed by Governor Henry and believes it will go a long way to curb the illegal immigration problem in the state. “I would remind people that states are separate sovereigns in our federal system,” Terrill points out. “Anyone who doesn’t understand that needs to go back and take an American federal government class in college,” he says.
As a result of that sovereignty, the Oklahoma lawmaker insists, “we have as much right — in fact, I would argue, a responsibility — to protect our taxpayers against that sort of egregious waste, fraud and abuse as the federal government should have a responsibility to protect that international border, but doesn’t do that.”
Terrill says as long as the federal government refuses to do it’s job of protecting the international borders of the United States, states like Oklahoma must take action to deal with the problem that is costing taxpayers in the state $200 million a year in public benefits, law enforcement costs, and other resources.

So you see people, even if our federal government, and our President doesn’t listen to us, we can still over-ride them. And I say that the time is NOW! What do you think? Let’s show our representatives in government, that they don’t have all the answers, and that they should start listening to us for once! We can and will replace you all……
