They Hated Bush, not his War……

The truth has finally hit the fan, so to speak. The left is suddenly hit square in the face with the facts that they actually hated Bush, as president, but not his war, as they have always been telling us. From the The American Thinker comes this one that shows just how much they really hated the man, not his policies.

The article is called: “The Mask is off: They hated Bush, not war.” And this is all documented folks.

Maybe anti-war demonstrators are unemployed, back home & getting on their parents’ health insurance policies.

Or, maybe they’ve all decided to watch President Obama talk “hip hop” on MTV rather than care anymore about premeditated wars without Congress or international coalitions.

Or, maybe they don’t want to be reminded of that “global test” that then Senator Kerry spoke about in the 2004 campaign?

Or, maybe they don’t want to hear that we are starting wars that we can’t afford?

Or, maybe they just can’t believe that the man who told them what they wanted to hear in 2007-08 would “go rogue”.

We do know that the anti-war left is mute and out of business now that “hope and change” is the one starting wars.

The silence or indifference is that Obama is a liberal Democrat, as Keith Wagstaff points out:

“Part of the reason, the study says, is that Democratic politicians in the Bush-era found it politically useful to co-opt the anti-war movement for votes. That all changed after Obama was elected:

Ultimately, the study suggests, the anti-war rallies of 2003 weren’t just about Iraq — they were also a way to register disapproval with the Bush administration. Now, even with most Americans wary of military intervention in Syria, the Democrats who marched a decade ago are mostly staying home.”

Yes. We saw that in the 2003 marches. We saw placards about same-sex marriage, “the living wage,” anti-Israel slogans, Che pictures, etc. Most of the placards had nothing to do with war! Did you see any placards at the demonstrations saying that Hillary Clinton and John Kerry voted for the war? or that President Clinton had bombed Iraq 4 times over MWDs?

The left has been exposed, It was always about Bush and not war.

You know my friends, it’s really too bad that we cannot get across the point to them on the left that we have been saying this very thing, all along. They Just Hated George W. Bush. It wasn’t his war, or the fact that he won the thing…..the whole gist of this animosity from the left about Bush, was the fact that they just plain ole hated him. Facts are facts you guys and gals on the left. You cannot make up your own, even though for years you have been trying too.

And to everyone who reads this blog, we here at Wise Conservatism hope that you all have a wonderful and safe Labor Day Holiday.

One Response to They Hated Bush, not his War……

  1. Seane-Anna says:

I’ve known this about the “anti-war” Left for a long time. Only it’s not even Bush they actually hate, it’s American power, especially when it’s deployed in the defense of American lives and American interests. Obama wants to bomb Syria for “humanitarian” reasons; America will get nothing out of it. And that’s precisely why the “anti-war” Left is supporting Obama’s saber rattling by their silence. It won’t help America and will most likely help America’s enemies, and that’s just the way the Left likes it.
reply from Robert: Exactly my friend. No truer words have ever been spoken.
