“Elections have consequences.”

After the last election, when the “so called Messiah” was elected, John McCain had the temerity to ask him if he was going to work with the republicans. Obama said, “I won the election, John. Elections have consequences.” This statement was the precursor of what was to come. Because the election of Barack Obama would indeed have consequences. Bad ones. Especially for our children’s future.

On Hardball the other night, Chris Matthews got snotty with Michelle Bachmann when asking about what she and the Republicans would do when they took the House. Here is the stupid exchange. And I mean stupid on Chris Matthews side:

Matthews: I have to ask you, if your party gets control of the House of Representatives, will you use the subpoena power to investigate the Democratic members of congress for unAmericanism? Yet, Michelle Bachmann wouldn’t bite.

Bachmann: So, Okay, your question was, if I heard you right. I’m sorry, we have a very happy audience back here tonight……

Matthews (interrupting): Well, they’re probably cheering me, but let me ask you, will you use the subpoena power………
“Are you hypnotized tonight, because no matter what I ask you you give the same answer? Has someone put you under a trance tonight?”

Bachmann: “I think people are thrilled tonight, I imagine that thrill is probably maybe not quite so tickling on your leg anymore.”

This comment by Ms Bachmann I think took Matthews back, and not in a good way. He had his own words thown back in his face on National television, on his own show. something that doesn’t happen to the liberals very often. But I say it is going to happen more and more often from now on.
But, on Tuesday, the American people sent Obama a rousing chorus of ‘we don’t like the direction you have led this country in, and we are taking back control.’ Obama, changed his tune. He said he would compromise a little, but he wouldn’t go any farther with the health care bill. It didn’t matter that he had just lost, and the Republicans, won.

There is the big difference between the Conservatives and the Liberals. When the Conservatives lose, they go back to the drawing board and try to win the next one, fair and square. The liberals? They have to win. NO MATTER HOW IT’S DONE. Cheating. Lying. Making up things to scare the people into voting for them. When it comes to winning an election, they have no scruples. Heck, when it comes to losing them they have no scruples either. If they lose, they figure that all they have to do is complain that they are not a part of everything and they get it. If they don’t, they cry about it till they get what they want. If they win, it’s “MY WAY OR NO WAY….Period! You want to know the difference between the Liberals and the Conservatives……there it is….in black and white……actually blue and white….. Clear as the nose on your face…..but I am afraid, that there are many many liberals who still won’t get it. Sadly.

Elections have consequences. Voting for liberal democrats gives you bad ones like we have experienced over the last 20 or so months. Is that enough to teach everyone?

Obama was right, elections have consequences, and now he has to deal with them. Maybe if he hadn’t been so arrogant in 2008 things would be better for him now. As it is, the Messiah is going to have to work with Republicans and if he gets the idea he doesn’t have to the Republicans should tell him, “We won.”
reply from Robert: Oh I think that is going to happen, though, maybe not in those words. The Republicans, though at some points of their leadership may waiver a bit, the majority of them will not let that happen. We sent a message to Washington, and the Republicans for the most part heard the explosion of anger expressed. And people like Mike Pence, as long as he is there, will not allow that to happen.

Robert, Great post, as usual….No, I dont think OB will compromise….He’s had his way too long and I don’t think he will relent. Certainly, the Demo’s won’t…The heavy’s are still in and they will, as their leader does, not compromise…..What’s the old saying Power corrupts absolutely……stay well…
reply from Robert: You are right, and corruption was so prevalent in Washington since Obama. Thank God there were some there that were not allowing the corruption to get them.

    Robert:
The liberal media along with the liberals in Washington and around the country have created this bi-partisan bull talk. Since when does anything work on a bi-partisan level. Conservatives and liberals are oil and water. This middle of the road crap is what got Republicans in trouble. If anything the word is compromise…that in itself is bad enough but at times a necessary evil it seems to get anything done. However if one does compromise they need to be holding the upper hand to begin with so as to not give away the ranch when dealing. That is what Republicans have done in the past and it came back to haunt them. With this new Congress I’m sure their will be plenty of voters still around to remind them of that. The Democrats shut us out when they took over, then labeled us as the party of no. They did not care for any bi-partisan input and would never have considered any. Republicans need to remember that.

By the way, Chris Mathews came off as some snotty high school kid. Bachmann sure put him in his place…where ever that is.
reply from Robert: My guess is, on the Michelle Bachmann issue, Chris Matthews has no idea where his place is. Just as most liberals don’t. They think their place is supposed to be at the top of the food chain, devowering everything else. But since this last election, if we Conservtives keep our heads on this, we have started the war to take back this country and put her back on course. Hopefully, they won’t fold.

Great work Rob, and we must keep fighting..this is just the beginning for us! Hope your’e having a great weekend my friend!:)
reply from Robert: Thank you. You too. This election was just the beginning. And it is time the democrats realized their power is coming to an end…..and it is time for the Republicans to realize that too.
