I think a great many people in this country would derive benefit from reading Romans 13: 1-7

reply from Robert: You are right. But since most wont, here it is:
1. LET every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

2. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

3. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good. And thou shalt have praise of the same:

4. For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid: for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

5. Wherever ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

6. For this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's mi nisters, attending continually upon this very thing.

7. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

I am thankful that idiot liberal schools don't teach about Thomas Jefferson anymore. Rather paint our founders to be "Racist slave owning white men"
I’m thankful for Obama getting on his knees and bowing, apologizing to the whole freaken world so that maybe, just maybe they will like us and not crash Airplanes into our buildings and not kill us anymore. Yes, Happy Thanksgiving to one and all even you Marxist’s Turkeys..

reply from Robert: I certainly hope that you are being sarcastic.....sheesh.

Great post, Robert! What a great history lesson. The Pilgrims tried socialism nearly 400 years ago and discovered that--surprise!--it didn't work. What is wrong with us that we refuse to heed that lesson? And what is wrong with us that we reject our religious heritage, as if being a Christian people were something to be ashamed of? Hopefully the Manhattan Declaration will spur a fearless and effective Christian resistance to this diabolical effort to deChristianize our nation. If it does that is something we can be very thankful for.

reply from Robert: I enjoyed doing that one. I read a lot before I came to Rush Limbaugh's real thanksgiving story. I remember when he first told that, and I remember how he told of how he researched all over to find the information. And the Mayflower Compact is based on God along with almost all of our founding documents. God is always mentioned. I hope the Manhattan Delcaration will do the same thing that you said. Spur a fearless and effective Christian resistance to the diabolical effort to deChristianize our nation. God Bless America and her people....and her troops.

Robert:
Good post.
Our Founding Fathers, as well as the Pilgrims were not Muslims, Buddist, Hindus, or whatever. They were Christian God fearing people.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, and may God bless you.

reply from Robert: Thanks. You are right too. Our founding fathers were NOT Muslims or Buddhists or Hindus, or whatever. They were Christian and it showed in all the founding documents that they wrote. Hope your Thanksgiving was the best ever.
