So now the Republican party, and the Conservative Movement is dead?

It is like I said in my last post, only the Liberals imagine this, and then stay obsessed with us. Hey you guys…..the Conservative cause is not dead……if you remember back to the time before Reagan, they thought the Republican party and Conservatism was dead then too……give a listen to this video:

  1. Seane-Anna says:

Think before you vote, indeed! If more people had done that instead of getting swayed by Obama’s race and flowery oration our country wouldn’t be in debt up to her ears and naked before her enemies.

reply from Robert: Isn’t that the truth. Too bad liberals can’t see this fact. They’re ideals are destroying what once used to be a great nation. It can be again, but we have to start using our heads, and actually listening to what is going on. And start being strong again….instead of whimpy and weak.

  2. Honestly, I HOPE the Republican party dies. As it is now it’s nothing but a watered down group of appeasers with no real passion or direction. If it dies you can be sure a conservative party will rise in its place and hopefully that one will recognize the conservative cause as is practiced by the people who align themselves with that ideology. Thanks to the internet and alternative medias in general we now have a media machine which can more than compensate for an absence of representation in the popular, mainstream press.

reply from Robert: Right now, I agree. Being a Republican all my life, I have decided that the Republican party has moved too far to the left to suit me, and has moved too far to the left of it’s moral base. To me, being a Conservative fits the bill, because Conservatism doesn’t change, although we have had a few lately who seem to be trying to change what it stands for too. The popular mainstream media is funny that way. They have always been liberal to the core, but when things change just a little……they clamor for change because it is too Conservative. That has always struck me as hilarious, because the media is nothing, if not completely and unapologetically Liberal.

  3. Forget, please, “conservatism.” It has been, operationally, de facto, Godless and therefore irrelevant. Secular conservatism will not defeat secular liberalism because to God both are two atheistic peas-in-a-pod and thus predestined to failure. As Stonewall Jackson’s Chief of Staff R.L. Dabney said of such a humanistic belief more than 100 years ago:

“[Secular conservatism] is a party which never conserves anything. Its history has been that it demurs to each aggression of the progressive party, and aims to save its credit by a respectable amount of growling, but always acquiesces at last in the innovation. What was the resisted novelty of yesterday is today .one of the accepted principles of conservatism; it is now conservative only in affecting to resist the next innovation, which will tomorrow be forced upon its timidity and will be succeeded by some third revolution; to be denounced and then adopted in its turn. American conservatism is merely the shadow that follows Radicalism as it moves forward towards perdition. It remains behind it, but never retards it, and always advances near its leader. This pretended salt bath utterly lost its savor: wherewith shall it be salted? Its impotency is not hard, indeed, to explain. It is worthless because it is the conservatism of expediency only, and not of sturdy principle. It intends to risk nothing serious for the sake of the truth.”

Our country is collapsing because we have turned our back on God (Psalm 9:17) and refused to kiss His Son (Psalm 2).

PS – And “Mr. Worldly Wiseman” Rush Limbaugh never made a bigger ass of himself than at CPAC where he told that blasphemous “joke” about himself and God.

reply from Robert: It is sad, that some give up so easily on the ideal that will be the one thing that could save this nation. Conservatism is NOT dead. It is just in repose right now. We here in America now cannot seem to commit to anything, unless it is always in the forefront. And to that, all I can say is, sorry about your loss. Before Reagan showed up on the scene, there were those, like you, who were saying that the Republican party was dead, and it would never come back. But it did. Conservatism is the one thing that will save this country now. Just because it isn’t showing itself too well right now does not mean it is dead. It just means that it’s time hasn’t come yet. But it will come.
