Global warming is just like everything else, it’s about money and power. I don’t believe in it. The earth has been hotter, and colder because of the sun. This year the sun has turned down the heat, the least amount of sunspots in decades, you can go to nasa site and check that out, and so it’s cold, I’m just a little south of you, but this has been the coldest december in years, and I’ve even heard some scientists claim that extremes like this, even colder, is because its hotter over all, which makes no sense, I want a clean environment, fuel efficient cars,I want trees,etc but global warming in the theory by Al Gore and company, by the way there are 5800 disenting scientists in the world who say its not true, I like Al Gore, but he’s making a lot of money off this, the same as he did off of that polluting mine he owned, and I want to help the environment but not at the expense of adding to peoples misery on earth, Global warming when it exists and cooling are directly related to the Sun cycles, and the earth’s tilt, The sun puts out more energy, it’s hotter, less it’s colder, the earth’s tilt changes where the sunlight comes in more directly it s hotter, less direct cooler, the winter 2006-2007 was warm, there were an unprecedented amount of sunspots during this period, I can say that I was in Alaska in Dec 2006, and it was beautiful, and warm for there, the displays you could even see in the city, looked like the lights were dancing and touching the ground, During the “little ice age” which ended just before the industrial revolution it was very cold, all the rivers in the states routinely froze all winter, during that time period there were barely any sun spots, then there were more and it started to warm up, We might have less oxygen to breath than in the past in the atmosphere because of industry, but it’s not the cause of global warming, sure it might have a small effect, but against the natural forces and cycles it is miniscule and doesn’t change how things would be one way or another, Let us hope that the downturn in the suns energy output is very temporary, otherwise the world and the global warming proponents will be in for a terrible surprise, global cooling and global Famine, the earth can only feed the amount of people on it now because the earth is warm, it gets cooler then there is significantly shorter growing periods and land that can grow crops and farm livestock.
It’s as simple as this analogy. You turn the heater up, it gets hotter. You turn the heater down it gets colder. The sun is the heater. God controls the thermostat.

The answer is not difficult to fathom: Simply put: CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME!

The problem lies in our own folly (all of us who ARE NOT WESTERNERS), for we not only try to mimic the Western Intellectual Traditions that have no meaning in the entire Tropics, but we also “offer” our “brain power” to the western world for some Dollar gains … totally relegating the problems that are faced in our own POOR nations … where these nations NEED our “brain power” more than any western Technologies!

We have to also recognize that the “Eastern World” would have to define and develop a New Business paradigm , independent (and different) of the Western world, so that local resources are developed for local needs through local people and local wisdom.
