Wise Conservatism

Try as I might, I cannot get away from the stupidity and gross negligence of what our government is doing to us. I wanted to talk about the Terrorist attacks in India, on the Jewish community, and our representatives in Washington keep doing things that just have to be addressed. But first, I have to say this.

The attack in Mumbai where a Jewish family was held hostage by a terrorist, and I know that the press called these people who did this militants, but people. Lets’ call it what it was. These were terrorists and nothing else. In the politically correct arena that we have found ourselves increasingly in, it seems it is wrong to call these people what they are. Well, as long as I am here, I will call them what they are…..and that is Terrorists. Plain and simple, and what they did in India was beyond anything we can call civilized, because it wasn’t. It was barbaric. NOTHING MORE, nothing less.

But our government is off and running on another economic stimulous package that could cost as much as 500 billion dollars more on top of what they have already spent over the last few months. Now I have to ask you people. Why is it that no one is speaking out against this crap??? I mean sure, it is nice to get a check from the government, with supposedly no strings attached, but here is what we are missing on this……

…..this is not free. And though we may not ever have to pay for this, someone is going to have to. And if we don’t do it, then it is going to go to our children, our grandchildren, our great grandchildren and maybe as far into the future as our great great great great grandchildren.

This “easygoing dopey” and stupid ideal that we need to bale out companies all over the place, and then give “economic stimulus checks out” is insane because there is nothing that comes from the government that is free. And these things are not free….by any stretch of the imagination.

We all have been raised, or at least have heard a lot, that nothing in life is free. Well, that is truer than any of us can imagine, and I can’t understand how we all fall for this stuff from the government that them spending trillions of dollars won’t cost us the taxpayers anything. We have to hold them accountable, because they have been spending money like it is a never ending fountain. It isn’t. People, they get their money from us! What ever the government does, it costs us, and that is a fact of life. Welfare costs us in taxes. Tax hikes cost us in taxes. Government programs cost us in taxes. Government anything costs us in taxes. Anything that Obama wants to do during his presidency, except for a true tax cut, will cost us in taxes. Anything that Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid or any of the others in Congress and the Senate wants to do, will cost us money in higher taxes. This is something that we have to start remembering here. NO MATTER what the government does, it is going to cost us in higher taxes. So with this thinking, in your heads now, this government stimulous program that they are now talking about is going to cost us. And it will cost us. It will cost us in higher taxes, it will cost our children higher taxes, it will cost their children higher taxes, and their children and on and on till it is paid. Which won’t be for a long long long long time. And I bring this up because, with Obama we are supposed to have a fresh start, with new people in our government. But Obama is bringing in all the old guard of the democratic party that helped put us here in the first place.

Our government has already all but bankrupted our children before they even have a chance to get their lives started…….and now they want to add more to the till? I say no NO NO NO!!!! This insanity has to stop before we find ourselves so far in debt to our children that their debt will make the national debt seem like one penny. And it is already close to that if not there. This insanity has to stop. Putting future generations into debt is not the way to go. Let the economy naturally go through this cycle. It will come out, just as sometime in the future it will go back down. We need to stop trying to artificially stop the natural process from happening. It is leading to a disaster that will not be easy to get out from under. Of course, these are my thoughts, but they are based on common sense and true thought. Something that we all could do if we put our minds to it.
