THIS COUNTRY SEEMS TO HAVE TOO MANY SPOILED BRATS,TOO MANY STUPID PEOPLE, AND WAY TOO MANY INGRATES!!!( THESE PEOPLE GAVE UP THEIR LIVES SO WE COULD SAY WHAT WE FUCK WE WANT!!!!------------WOULD YOU DO THAT FOR OTHERS??????
reply from Robert: Sadly, you are right. To me, it is inconsciable that someone should give up their lives to give someone else the freedom to trash the country that they live in, but in America, that is the truth. What people do not get is, that there are consequences to their actions. You make laws that take freedoms away from people, the people become less free. And for American's that is a bad thing.

For a long time we took it, because it was all done in the guise of doing something to make things nicer for people, when it was just a ploy to take more of your freedoms away. As the liberals have done this kind of thing over the years, they have gotten more and more brazen in the way they do things, and now, with this administration, they are right out in the open with it, claiming foul if someone opposes them. YOU ARE RIGHT, we have too many spoiled brats, and stupid people who don't realize that doing what they are doing is destroying this country from within.

Ben Franklin said, "we have a republic, for as long as we can keep it." This is what he was talking about when he said it. This republic would be destroyed from within by social programs and lies if allowed too. Right now these social programs are at the limit of the amount this country can sustain, if not beyond that. This last election was the start of taking this country and placing her back on the right track, of lower taxes, lower government programs, less and less earmarks and less intrusive government, *smaller*. The people are finally awake. Let's pray we stay that way, because the battle for this country is ongoing......and necessary for America to survive.

Ridiculously poor grammar not withstanding...this is just the worst sort of commentary. I consider myself a conservative and even I am dubious about your claim that liberalism has been proven "not to ever work". Not to ever work in what capacity? As an ethos? As an ideology? You need some citations for outrageous claims like that.

The case can be made that liberal thought is partially responsible for the degradation of shared societal values, but thats not what you are saying...

You even seem to imply that liberals are not part of the American system of government. Amusing.

Jason, I can't believe you'd stoop to such a comment on a post that's about honoring the men who've fought for this country throughout its history. You disgust me. You're a robotic ideologue who can't turn off the conservatives-are-evil radio playing in your head long enough to just honor the troops you claim to care so much about. You care about them about as much as Brian de Palma does. I'm sure your US-troops-are-raping-murdering-thugs movie will be out soon. Just an example of your "mature and rational" patriotic love. Gag me.
